在基层的人，为了控制这个疫情，他们真的是想尽了各种的办法，真的是希望能好好地
控制这次的疫情，但是，往往他们的付出，还是有人不理解。
今天看到一个新闻，一个女子竟然拒绝民警给量体温，而且，民警查看身份证的时候，
人家姑奶奶还拒不配合，真的是太让人觉得可怕的一件事情了。
而且可怕的是，因为是妨害公务了，当民警将这个女子带进警车的时候，这个女子还来
劲了，直接往人家民警的脸上吐口水，真的是什么素质呢。
最终，当然这个女子是要受到法律的制裁的。被依法拘留了十天。
说实话，有的时候真的发现，很多人是没有办法有这个同理心的，总是觉得，这些人仿
佛是耽误了他的行程，她想打ode只是自己，从来不会去想到别人，这样的人，真的是
挺可怕的，所以，z这样自私的人，实际上很多时候，真的是没有办法和他们讲道理，

much chance in engineering dept, their philosophy is very different from
math, even applied math.
Switching from ODE to PDe is not as easy as you think, there are many many
open problems in pde, and it requires much more functional analysis. |

从source Node开始，用bfs(use a queue),进行traversal,
同时keep一个hash table;
int是一个编号，比如source为1,其邻居为2,3,4
处理source Node 为 一串string-> 1:str:2:3:4 str为节点value直，2/3/4为邻居的编
号, 并且根据编号放进一个array of string ARRAY中，
当bfs traversal到一个Node的时候,先检查他是否在hashTable中，如果不在就hash
ode,编号>到hash table,
并且生成i:string:x:y:z, 放进 ARRAY 中。
其中在第一次discover新Node的时候，只是生成这个新Node的编号，并放进 ARRAY 中，
并不处理它的邻居。只是后来它从Queue pop出来的时候，才从ARRAY中寻找到它（根据
hash table）,并且更新它的邻居。

dynamic systems. 学校一般， 排名在60-70左右。 最近看到交易策略研究员（
Algorithmic Trading Researcher）的职位， 很是心动。 想投一下， 不知道有谁有
经验，评价一下靠谱不？该职位也提到对于control 和optimization背景的人可以考虑
。 如果投的话， 怎么才能强调自己的research背景？因为过去的研究项目主要是在
工程领域， 跟金融和交易一点关系都没有。 Research主要在预测控制（predictive
optimal control）， 做过几个项目跟交通和汽车相关。目前有2篇journal paper和5
篇conference paper。我读博士期间修过数学系的随机过程， 时间序列等一些课，对
随机ODE和PDE有简单认识， 不知道是不是有帮助。 |

了漫长的找工作（心理感觉）长征。知道消息一下就晕菜了。赶快查了h1b的规定还有
写信问hr和律师公司的规定。律师真是忙，写邮件要几天才恢复，约后几天的半小时时
间谈谈，结果错过了两次。。。干脆不理it了，先转b2再说。
觉良好的。折了几个电面和programming test以后走向另外一个极端。。。主要就是还
从打击中恢复，还没准备好面试就被突然袭击。其中有几个非常想去的公司都挂了，郁
闷的要死。还好6月中混到2个onsite.开始集中精力准备onsite,也暂停发简历。
闹，自己安慰自己是熟悉环境，实际是不喜欢看书。。。话说austin真热。。。下午走
的时候是108度。。面试非常顺利。题目难度一般。真正算法也就是A*寻路算法。其他
都是实际应用中的问题。还有点到直线距离一类的几何问题。总的来说游戏行业对算法
要求不高，有实际经验再准备下都不太难。后来挂的地方是午饭时间一个俗到不能再俗
的问题。。。你的弱点是什么。。。俺找了一个n年前年轻时候的不好的习惯，然后强
调这n年都在不断注意和改进。。。结果it只听了前半: 句。另外一个是complishment

对大家有所帮组。
个人背景：Fresh PHD in circuit EDA CAD，有公司实习经历， 学校专业排名top 10
找工作结果：时间大概一个月，从去年年底开始投简历到现在。结果是一共拿了2个
offer, 4个onsite, 电面若干。拿到的两个offer都来自同一公司，不同的team, 一个
hardware, 一个software，最后选了hardware 这个组。公司是业内top的circuit
design公司。
说说一些感想
1．简历：说到这个，版上有很多人都有这个疑问，到底简历多少页比较合适，尤其PHD
应不应该把publication 放上去。我的观点是：简历这东西不是去让人了解你的全部，
而是trigger别人有去了解你的冲动。除非你的简历能直接让hiring manger看到，比如
说找内部的人给你投简历，不然我觉得一页便是极限。我一开始的简历有4页，后来被
朋友狠批，把简历缩减到一页，把所有的publication都去掉，experience里面基本一
