我看你问885,以为你是博士毕业先做博士后所以先申请了457然后慢慢办移民呢
如果是澳大利亚本地博士,又有工作,885等类别应该很快
就是硕士或者本科毕业的也很快
其他独立移民如175,一般都是offshore申请的
457和学生的485等等还是不一样的,学生毕业直接移民就有on shore的好处
而457这些临时工作签证,要换请新的其他类别签证,好象都要求offshore
不过不管哪个,实际没什么影响,主要是签证在什么部门审理以及在什么地方加盖的区别
没有规定说你offshore申请那你人就不能留在澳大利亚
offshore/onshore我感觉是过去签证政策的一个尾巴
是防止难民签证过桥签证等特殊类别的人在出入境上带来管理的不便
留学移民是两个连环的澳大利亚赚钱的途径,学生毕业属于过桥状态,申请PR时还不能离
开澳大利亚,就是必须onshore不能随便offshore

北方的鱼, 大部分在水底活动, 如seabass, cod, pollock, haddock, fluke。只有
striper, bluefish, tuna这些鱼才在全水层活动。Vertical Jigging是海钓中最刺激
的钓法, 北方的底栖鱼类不适合这种钓法, 而南方有很多鱼种在大范围的水层活动,
Vertical jigging可以钓很多种的鱼。自从上次机耕北卡回来以后, 就一直在看去南
方钓鱼的机会。马丁路德金日长周末我有事去佛罗里达, 一月是钓黑鳍金枪鱼的好时候
。我在网上租了条船, 叫上了我的八弟, 一起去那边, 自己开船钓几天, 好好探索一下
南方海和南方的鱼。在Florida有久违的老朋友, 实力派高手老马, 还有鱼版无人不知
的船长可以做带路党。
兵马未动, 粮草先行。这次行动计划以jigging为主, 辅以trolling和popping, 我选了

者结实寿命长。
看你去offshore钓什么鱼，多重，很多Inshore rods是钓小鱼的比如speckled trout之
类，需要sensitivity,不能太重。 inshore里面也有重些的杆，可能能够钓offshore的
中等5-10磅的鱼。
所以主要还是看你钓什么鱼种。 |

的主要业务就是普通结构，例如高层、医院、学校、体育场馆等。类似这样的公司在休
斯顿，ENTRY-LEVEL的结构工程师起薪到6万是有可能的（算不错的），有没有PH.D.学
位影响不大。作OFFSHORE的公司和里面作ONSHORE的部门的基本工资差别不大，不过有
些作OFFSHORE的工程师需要去不时去现场工作，一个月、两个月甚至更长都有可能，这
样比较辛苦，但无形中增加了全年的总收入。
一般说来，好的OFFSHORE的公司给ENTRY-LEVEL付到7万完全可能，但按照我自己的观察
，似乎OFFSHORE公司起薪的上下浮动范围比普通结构公司大不少。你可能拿到7万5，也
可能只有5万5。

是说要大家早点确定方向，早点作准备，就不该用这样的标题，应该是“经验越多，转
行越不容易”，还是理工男的文字表达水平有限，词不达意。
Offshore地域限制太大，桥梁美国各地都需要，现在页岩开发大火，Offshore开采成本
高，项目推迟或取消，平台也不可能总是建，那天offshore大萧条了，设想一个
Offshore做了多年被裁员了去申请桥梁核能工作不成，只好感叹“男怕入错行”。这又
何必呢？
最后，我同意LZ透露的意思，经验越多，转行越不容易,土木行业学历越高，越不受待

美中达协议：美籍华人、绿卡持有人须申报中国存款账户。美国财政部表示，已
经与中国政府草签了一份协议。此举旨在贯彻实施2010年通过的一项遏制海外逃税的联
邦法律。
两国已经就条款达成一致，但在正式签署前还需审议协议细则。
这项法律要求外国银行将有关美国公民所有的账户信息提交给美国国税局(IRS)。
这将迫使世界各地的银行不向任何不遵守这项法律的金融机构进行某类支付。该法的正
式名称为《外国账户税务合规法案》(Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act,简称
Fatca)。
中共官员过去曾私下表示担心遵守FATCA会背负的潜在负担。但美国已经利用政府
间协议来简化合规过程。美国和中国已经签订一类互惠协议。根据协议，中国将向美国
政府提供美国公民金融账户信息，而美国则会将中国大陆籍人士美国账户信息提供给中
共政府。
