一月份去Okemo滑了三天，长进很大，感觉Okemo的雪况和设施都不错。
Okemo最大的特点就是"grooming, grooming, grooming", ranked No.2 in the east。
我滑到了人生第一次灯心绒。Okemo的黑道难度不大，我从著名的World Cup一路下来很
流畅。People are saying if you want to feel like a hero, go to Okemo; if you
want challenges, go to Stowe. And I wanted to feel hero :)
Okemo has two mountains. The Jackson Gore side is less crowded, better snow
condition, but fewer trails. Tuckered Out is a long cruiser that has

发帖数: 59 | 9 12月开始，Okemo雪场推出了给滑雪初级爱好的免费课程，包括课程本身、装备和Lower
mountain的lift ticket的整个package都免费，是不能再好的deal. 虽然自认为已不
属于beginner，但一直以来都是自己看看video看看教程摸索，想看看正规科班是怎么
教的。加上这么好的deal可以多拉几个人，凑了两车。
10点开课，我们9点半到，一到那就被告知快赶不上10点那拨了，因为整个课程的规模
远超出想象，整个check-in大厅人山人海。排队的时候和一个员工老太太聊了下，老太
太听说我要用自己的装备，就说这个课是特别针对没有任何经验的人，你自己有装备，
不可能没滑过，所以不能上。只好装孙子，说我去年滑了两次，激发了我对滑雪的兴趣
，所以买了装备，其实我还很菜很菜的。
拿到票领完装备以后，到了上课集合地点，只见数十个穿Okemo制服的人招呼大家分组
集合，哇塞，老师都那么多。分为两个层次，Level 1 和 2. Level 1是从没滑过的，
Level 2是滑过一次以上的。自然参加Level 2, 我们组有差不多10人，instructor是一

住宿挺贵的，不过45 分钟车程肯定能找到便宜的。
Vermont 的雪场和纽约宾州比人少多了，你可以去一个周末滑两个不同的雪场。水平差
的就选MT snow, okemo 或者Straton. 水平好的就去killington, Stowe 和
sugarbush. |

发帖数: 59 | 20 Okemo是入选了Ski杂志去年评出的北美东海岸Top 10滑雪胜地，雪道主要针对中级滑雪
爱好者，上周末开始开门营业，总共100多条雪道已经有30余条开放。
这个冬天开季第一次，先上初级道，初级道也很酷, 用的不是牵引式的J-bar，而是地
毯式扶梯。初级道很短，一上去就迎来了新雪季第一跤Sad 第一趟下来一点感觉都没有
，感觉新雪板长了点不好控制。又滑了一趟，稍稍找到点感觉，保罗就迫不及待拉我上
空中索道。上了一个小山丘，滑一条很缓绿道，基本捡回平行转弯的感觉了，滑到小山
丘半山腰就发现另一个通往3000英尺主山头顶峰的索道，这个索道的速度是风驰电掣，
飕飕的一排排往上，没3分钟就到顶了。
顶峰上也有一个休闲食堂，非常腐败的说。滑了条绿蓝混合道，基本恢复到上季水平，
并快速恢复对恐惧感的客服能力，感觉到长点的雪板也不难控制，而且反而不容易摔跤
。但是，雪道实在太长了，坡一个接一个，休息了n次才滑回高速索道入口，膝盖开始
酸了，不争气的后背也酸的不行了。
高速索道的不是缺点的缺点是坐着休息时间太短。一趟接一趟，1个多小时把主山头一
侧开放的绿蓝道基本滑了一遍。总的来说雪况不错，oke |

发帖数: 3032 | 34 如果是蓝道，OKEMO应该最好，那里的蓝道很宽，也不陡。但是3天滑OKEMO有点多。如
果你只选一个地方，那就KILLINGTON，雪道多，造雪好，蓝道相对多一点，简单的蓝道
在RAMS HEAD，也挺宽。稍微难一点就往BEAR MOUNTAIN 方向滑，什么 Cruise Control
, Bunny Bust, Rime, Sky Lark, 都是挺好的，蓝道滑树林还是算了。
另外OKEMO，STRATTON， KILLINGTON，还有MT SNOW都不算太远，3天你可以去不同
的雪场试试。 |

Lansing, East Lansing, Okemos一带，本人是个不折不扣的吃货，再加上一个人
住在这里懒于做饭，左左右右附近不大不小的地方也吃了几十家，不如写点东西，
算是对这段日子的留念。
要说Lansing这一带的吃，总的来说，那就是没啥好吃的，比我之前生活了7年的
纽约纽泽西差了好多个档次，本人是全世界美食来者不拒，但是整个lanshing来说，
Spanish Tapa，Authentic Greek这些纽约大陆货一个没有，那些食客更少的秘鲁菜，
非洲菜，南美菜更是听都没听过了，做的好的意大利菜也不多。 哎，一开始的时候日
子还真是难过，但慢慢的也还发现了一些好地方。

接下来写okemos,这town应该说比两个lansing差多了，但架不住近阿，额大
部分时间在这里觅食，这里两个圈子，一个是okemos rd交jolly rd,一个是merdian
mall附近，先说第一个地方。Still Water Grill去过两次，算比较高档得，但实在太
美国话了，连steak都是甜的，价格很贵，后来就很少取了。旁边有个State Deli
sandwich store,自己做corned beef,面包现烤，确实不错，sandwich夹core slaw和他
们自称的russian sauce,就是有点小贵阿，10块一份，收银的妞有点小靓。 然后是
Sahara,中东烤肉，这个店在我待的一年里换了一次老板，有点下坡路了，Shishi
kebab有点小味道，但比起NJ的任何一家，他们估计都要关门了。隔壁的‘叙香园’，
千万必要去，谁去谁后悔，amigo做的中餐，不是给俺们中国人吃的。
Meridian mall附近，Meijier对面，那个foot locker隔壁有个'Three Time
Cafe |
