我这次报了很多program,但是发现根本去不了那么多interview,浪费了大把银子。但是
我还是奉劝大家，多报一点，我明显感到HEM/ONC热起来了，多报一点增加成功率。钱
是可以赚回来的，机会是回不来的。然后安排假期的时候安排一整个月在2月底到三月
。这样一个月可以面试很多地方。不用求爹爹告奶奶的求别人来顶班，还要看CMR的脸
色。利用假期把面试统统搞定。人家也不知道你有多少面试。做事低调一点比较好。如
果弄得大家都知道你有多少面试什么面试，很多人会老是问东问西，很烦的。 |

发帖数: 153 | 6 Interview process: PD介绍，然后听ground round, faculty interview，吃饭，tour
。跟大多数面试差不多。不一样的是：1、faculty面试多，见了8个人，这一点恐怕只
有MD Anderson可以比。2、吃饭时候PD在场。一般跟fellow吃饭都是大家问秘密问题的
时候，unsupervised，但是整个吃饭时间几个PD和Associate PD都在。
Reputation：9/10。对于不做肿瘤的人来讲，Fred-Hutch的 名气并不是很大，但是对
于hem-onc特别是对BMT感性趣的来讲，Fred-Hutch是预定一的高手。US News排名肿瘤
排第六。血液病特别是BMT恐怕是全美最好的。
Competitiveness：9/10。因为城市好，reputation好，fellow的placement好，竞争力
很强。我是当天面试唯一的一个IMG。他们招人也很看重research，所以面试者中，MD/
PHD有好几个。
Basic research：10/10。这个program恐怕是最重视research training的 |

cardio,GI,hem/onc,renal,ID一般来说都比较累。
endo,rheuma,A/I就轻松多了。
最不累的是A/I吧？4 fellows share call schedule=每四周有一周oncall,on call那
一周一般每周2-5个consult,基本晚上在家ER和floor是不会打传呼的。每周2.5 or 3天
门诊，令外2 or 2.5天就lecture,review course, immunology class,research. 第二
年fellow每周就1 or 1.5 day门诊，剩下的就是research:-) |

Chinese. At least you will be filtered out 1/3-1/2 IM or FM programs which
demanded first pass in CS. So be prepared for this. |

You need some onsite interviews to get an idea and to practice. In the first
several interviews, I didn't know what to talk about, what to ask, but
later I was doing much better. The real world is very different from
fellowship programs/academic centers. I realized that we were not even
trained how to bill. In the community, you have to be good at billing,and
socializing with PCPs/Surgeons/Radonc, etc. Communication is pivotal. In

bearaffair没擦嘴之前没觉得有太大的冲突，但是他一来，马上就跟once一大一档左右
