还有,要说到双重含义的话,还是炼钢更确切一些,钢就是可以用来造枪炮的
反而那个红色poppy的种类Papaver rhoeas是不能用来做opium的,做鸦片那个是
Papaver somniferum。所以说,想做喷子也应该读点书,不读书至少也应该会用wiki,
不用wiki至少也应该虚心请教别人,以免暴露自己文盲的特征。

中国司法制度不透明,不完善,英美很容易发出质疑
这里提到的质疑看一下的话是有道理的 (虽然我算是挺薄的,但这里的质疑明显对博
士不利的)
我个人认为,目前对命案的审理,明显是一种妥协的结果。基本上做到了把风波的影响
放小
处理尺度上有一定的空间。
薄也没有被打死。
这里的政治风险很大,如果薄真是个贪赃枉法的人,(野心其实到没什么错)
这里的处置基本把对薄的一些说法判定是谣言,如果将来有反弹将会比没有这个风波来
得更大。希望通过这个风波整死左派的可能会某一天遭受到过多的清算。
如果整个对薄的说法基本都是陷害,那么现今的做法就让谷开来蒙冤。
真正的真相是什么,我们p民可能永远不能知道。

thats why we should read history first, and from different sources.
backward countries were "backward" for a reason. they were never as
rational as you may thought, otherwise they would not be so backwards. as
for the opium wars, the british people found that it was extremely hard to
communicate with the chinese central government, if not impossible. if they
didn't resort to some kind of force, they would NEVER receive any response
from the chinese government.

my point is very clear. qing government didn't represent chinese people's
interest. the opium war is a loss of qing government, not the chinese

First, UK merchants did not think selling opium to Chinese is right, but
just profitable. In fact, they realized the negative consequence very well.
It is not a 7 yrs old Dutch selling weeds for fun, but a drug dealer dealing
drugs in US' backyard. Force will meet force.

let's think about 2 possibilities:
1' the opium war never happened and china remain almost the same as 170
years ago, this assumption is valid because this was what the qing
government wanted and it had the measures to maintain this situation,
without foreign countries' involvement, of course.
2,the real history.
which one you prefer more? it is not a standard of today or the 19th
century, just as a normal chinsese person, with a common sense, which one do
