turn，一次cut进入别人车道太猛。全是被给的warning。有人可能觉得都是运气太好
。但是其实被pull over之后有很大一部分因素是自己可以控制的。下面经验都是结合
了自己和朋友的经历。
首先要想不得ticket，最重要的是养成defense drive的习惯。如果像有些人一样高速
动不动就超10mile，15mile以上，那被抓下来ticket是吃定了，在怎么求情也没用。如
果高速上平常保持在超过限速10mile之内开车被抓下来的话，那做到以下几点可以大大
降低被罚ticket的几率。
1.首先看到警车在后面亮灯之后要马上找地方停下来，有些人带着警察开了2，3mile才
停，那被开罚单几率就会大增。要知道警察一般埋伏的地方都是几个固定点，追着你开
出老远才停下，回去重新埋伏也得老半天去了，不如再多花点时间给你开了罚单再走。
2.其次一般高速上停车拿不准的话都停高速的右边路肩。有些州规定高速上被抓要尽量
停到公路右边。如果被抓的时候在超车道上，千万不要再加速超过和你并排的车，然后 |

昨晚我和女友从Kent往seattle方向开，在I5N的exit161附近被一个highway patrol的
警察pull over，他说我们的车超过了他，问我要了驾照，然后给我开了一个ticket，
说我超速到75+，下面备注还写着80mile/hr.但是我那时候非常肯定我的车速在63-66之
间。因为我们在exit161其面几mile的时候，就看到这辆警车了。然后再exit160附近超
过了他，然后这个警察就把我pull over了。
第一次碰到这种警察撒谎的情况，我肯定是会要求上庭contest的，但是想请教一下大
家有什么建议，我应该注意点什么？小弟真的万分感谢。
PS：我刚搬到西雅图不久，所以车牌还是外州的，驾照也是外州的，是不是因为这样，
警察才以为我不会上庭，而信口胡说？
PS2：我在准备上庭的材料，因为刚发生，我能记得清楚，大家看看我这段key point写的行吗？基本上我就是以我的发票时间为准，算我的发票时间到我被抓到的时间算，怎么也不可能在超速。

MLGBD，今天在Houston换完护照，回Dallas途中，在距Dallas还有三个多小时的I-45N
的一个叫神马Montgomery County, 被一个条子pulled over, it 非说我65 limit 开80
， 还说我在Construction Zone 超速，要double fine. 在ticket 中，只说要我在下
月之前出庭，没有给出fine 数额，也没给web address或其它任何信息可以查。我的问
题是我一定要开三个小时过去出庭，或可以给法庭打电话要其它Options?
还有一问题，我从外州搬到Dallas,还是外州的Driver License and License Plate
Number,这种情况，我可以要求上网上驾校来取消ticket吗？ |

雾水，说我应该换到左面一条lane，即所谓的move over violation.
罚了$110，听说会影响point。3个选择：交钱，hearing，trial。我想hearing比较合
适。想了证词有三：
1) Did not know this law
MD: effective Oct. 1, 2010
NY: effective Jan. 1, 2011
Changed my license from NY to MD in Nov., 2010.
2) Reduced speed when passing (by 5 mph)

倒霉的是，还被发现driver's licence居然expire了几天。过去没太记得这个日子，今天一看才想起来跟我opt过期时间一样。officer是federal officer，先准备按speeding处罚，后来他发现DL过期了，跟他说了点好话，他就说do you a
favor让我drive straight home然后fine $100+$25（processing fee)。让马上去
renew DL。说我要是被state officer再抓到就没这么简单了。ticket上的offense description是：Operating a motor vehicle w/out a valid DL.他说只是罚款，不会扣分。
这里想问一下，真的就这么简单吗。有没有其他的记录，比如会不会影响car

多都是开70-75mile，结果我加速超一个卡车的时候，被躲在草丛里面的警察闪灯，抓

直线的路上我超过它的时候是95mph，限速是65，超过它以后我就换到center lane然后
慢慢减速，它跟了我一段以后猛的加速超过我，于是我也踩油门跟上，速度大概100，
它在左lane，我在中间，距离约3秒，以这个状态开了大约半分钟，它突然减速，我以
为前面路面有情况，也赶紧减速，结果发现右边的树后停了一辆警车，就在我俩过去以
后警车亮灯，追了上来，给我吓得，低头看了一眼速度，75mph左右，心想完了，这回

，哎呀我心理这个幸灾乐祸啊，唉，平时最讨厌幸灾乐祸的人，关键时刻自己也幸灾乐
祸了一把。。。 |

别的车还慢个5 MILE左右， 就在聚精会神的开车同时，突然发现后面跟着一辆警车亮
着灯，之前做朋友车知道警车后面跟着亮灯要PULL OVER的，结果一紧张在左边黄线就
停车了，也正好能容纳一个车位，上来警察挺生气的，好像说要给我罚单，2张一张是
什么没听清，另外一张是说我不能再HIGH的左LANE上停车，我给了他驾照和保险单，回
到车里呆了大约5-8分钟，然后还给我了驾照和保险卡，别的什么都没给我，还不让我
插嘴说话，意思说我可以打电话什么的，但是什么东西也没有给我我要怎么查询呢？我
是NJ去Delaware的HIGHWAY上，会不会有可能警车着急过去只是亮着灯要办理事情，正
好跟在我后面，我已看到后面跟着我还亮灯我就一紧张停了结果，犯错了。。
哦 对了 看他进车里很长时间不出来，我就想下车去解释下，结果左脚他出去一步还没
着地，他就用高八度的嗓门加喇叭吼我，吓的我又把门关上了。。。。。。。。。。 |

发帖数: 39 | 48 在迈阿密租的车，第一次被pull over，是因为晚上没开车灯，白痴了一把，不解释。
刚从超市出来，拐上正路，忘了开灯。先是警车（没开灯）在前面停住，我也停住，等
了一会儿不见动静我跟着后面的左转的车屁股后面超车过去，然后警车开灯把我叫停，
过来看见车里坐着老婆孩子打了个招呼，问我咋了？我说不知道，看见你叫我停我就停
了。他说你没开车灯，我说不好意思，忘了。然后开车灯走人。
这样是不是就算是个警告，不会有什么罚单寄到？
第一次被pull over，心里没底。 |

赶着从北卡去Wisconsin，晚上十点多在WV一辆车紧紧跟在我后面用大灯晃我，我以为
是嫌我开得太慢于是就加速想拉开距离，然后警灯就亮了。警察说我在60的路开了85，
我第一次被pull over所以紧张得结结巴巴，跟警察说我我老妈从中国来美国开会，我
去WI看她云云，警察拿我的驾照和registration去了一会说开慢点，还很远，不要整夜
开，注意安全，就让我走了
第二次 2011年3月 North Carolina
local，前面一个车左拐，几个车就从右边bike lane超过去，我也跟着走，结果被一个
躲在CVS后面的警察pull over了。结果还没带钱包，木有驾照……结果警察二话不说给
我开了个50刀的罚单。最后找律师什么的一共花了200多刀，clean record。
第三次 2013年3月 New Mexico
荒无人烟的荒漠啊，限速60，跟着一个mini van开，对面来个警察没看见。眼看那个警
察掉头过来就追我。是印第安居留地自己的警察，跟他聊了几句说啊我在中国就对印第
安人文化非常好奇，这次专门从东海岸过来看... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 8 | 50 最近开车带着父母roadtrip, 昨晚在德州us287上不到一个小镇的时候被警车pull over
。
警察同志说我在限速75超速到82, 超了10%了, 我试图挣扎一下说82没到10%, 警官说对
没错10%的话是82.5但doesn't matter, 超1mile也是超速。然后拿了我驾照去警车里了。
警察叔叔在他的车上折腾了很久,期间有另一辆警车闪着警灯呼啸而过,在那辆警车过去
没多久那位pull over我的警察拿着我的驾照走过来大概说了I got an emergency call
, after I pass your card you can go. 差不多是这样的话然后他就开走了。
我现在的问题就是我当场没有拿到罚单,但是警察叔叔拿了我的驾照那么久,是不是录入
了信息之后会再寄给我,还是说那个emergency call放了我一马? |
