2007年的房子，3000 sqr feet，正墙包括正面的房沿，柱子等打算重新刷漆。有个
quote是要60～70个小时，每小时$18-$20。
请问这个quote合理吗？这个工程要这么长时间吗？

收了HOA的notice需要粉刷外立面，约了几个painter来看，约了下周来做exterior
painting。
现在这两周气温特别高，101F了 ，有点犹豫要不要推迟。
气温这么高是不是不太适合刷外面啊？？请懂行的朋友给点建议！谢谢！ |

我买了krylon的kahki，oliver和brown，还有laqucre thinner，clear coat matte
finish
请有经验的来看看我的步骤有没有错
1. remove bolt action，把trigger用paint tape起来，把buttpad附近tape起来
2. 依次spray paint kahki，oliver，brown。
3. clear coat是漆干了之前上还是漆干了之后上？
有没有miss什么 |

至少从观感上，可见度还行，但是有两个问题：1 需要紫外线才能激活荧光 2 最高亮
度持续时间很
短，不到一个小时以后就基本完全不亮了

surface vs. matte? I am doing psychophysics on both computer graphical stimuli
and real surfaces?
So, I want to paint some surfaces with different glossy paint. Then I could
ask
subject to match the color of theses surfaces and study how does spectrum of
surfaces(color) influence the glossiness of the surfaces( its directional
reflection).
I also use computer graphics models to simulate surfaces reflections. |

repaint 一般是在 screen refresh （比如 move, resize, restore, uncovered

看AMAZON上面也有卖MARKER BB的，这种蛋能用来放在PAINT BALL里打不？扛着PAINT
BALL那个大钢瓶实在是受不了哇。

发帖数: 350 | 22 我说的鸟其实指的是鸟屎，去outlet逛一圈，鸟屎就可以直接把clear coat全部腐蚀
光。
如果车很低那clear bra可能有点用，但也要很多很多年才能看到区别。
wax一般只能坚持一个月吧，paint sealant可以坚持久一点。我觉得你喜欢车detail的
话，还是每次洗车的时候喷一点吧。就算有了coating还是要洗车。assuming你自己洗
车的话，上sealant或wax其实不用很多时间。 |

发帖数: 3558 | 24 谢谢回答的这么详细。。。我也琢磨着得全部拆下来做，否则竖直的，工作起来不舒服
，而且一般的polyurethane也不容易stay。。。
最初做stain/clear finish的时候，最头疼的是气泡问题。你有吗？有啥心得吗？当时
找了好多资料来学习，效果都不显著。现在我就不管了，反正每次sand了再上
polyurethane，三次之后，气泡就很少很少了。我买了很多刷子，试下来，觉得用海绵
刷最好，你觉得呢？。。。你的tip，我下次留心一下。我一般都上很多，否则容易留
brush mark。。。
我还发现，那个oak，平时看着花纹挺大挺粗燥的，但是真的stain/clear finish，可
好看呢，纹路清晰。。。而maple的那种，纹路细致，有时候就看不出啥了
另外，一般架子家具啥的，即使是paint过的，之后也apply polyurethane，表面会变
得很光滑。这样很容易clean, 而且放了塑料袋/纸盒啥的，也不会留印子在paint上
呵呵，难得碰到个也自己stain的人，真高兴，可以多说几句:)

chrome是铜或者锌上镀铬
black chrome是上面这个chrome之后上黑漆
M4, M3和M2机身本来就是铜的，那chrome岂不是比black paint还多了道工序？ |

was done. Both repair are done to the doors. Whole door and nearby areas are
painted over. In fact, the replacment door was a used door that used to be

basecoat
clearcoat
primer
第一次做，看了说明，还是有一点疑问和不确定。
先请问下，以免错了，就麻烦了。
我理解的步骤是：
1. 先拿布和洗完液把要弄得地方洗干净，晾干。
2. 用primer去掉划痕
3. 等primer干了24小时以后，用basecoat涂，多涂几层
4. 等basecoat干了以后，用clearcoat涂，多涂几层，每层间隔10分钟涂。
还有什么注意的？
还有，我看说明有用lacquer thinner涂掉位置不好，流出来的coat。
我忘了买了
这个一定要买？

门上半部就很难看了.面积大用喷的好,也均匀,但同颜色的漆不好找.要喷就把整个
bumper都喷了把.这样一来还好看些. |

make the surface smooth enough.
