这是一本非常详尽的邓小平的传记。这本书是在NPR上听到介绍，立即在亚马逊上定了
一本。书出来没多久读完。从中学到非常多关于当代中国的知识。虽然对中国
的事情都有所知道，很多细节在读这本书之前都不清楚。比如说华国锋的经历，胡耀邦
和赵紫阳的上台下台的经历，64的经过，老江，胡哥上台，书中有详细的描述。是不可
多得的一本好书。强烈推荐。

近吗？向一个晒太阳的大叔一打听，沿Broadway走两条街就是.
这里是Broadway和E12街角.后面绿树葱葱的就是Union Square了.再远可以看到帝国大
厦．
书店外屋檐下有不少特价书.书中就有颜如玉.先给mm拍一张.
摄影书在二层的楼角,光线很好,窗口有四把椅子，可以坐定慢慢翻书.
（椅子边有插头，赶紧把用了一半的相机电池插上了.呵呵）
书满满好几架,按摄影师分类.书的种类太多了,
听说过的有,没听说过的更多，几天几夜也看不完.
而且一本书是新的和二手的摆在一起,买不起新的可以买二手的.
新书一般都是一本随便翻,其余在塑料薄膜里包着.
窗户都是打开的,有新鲜的风吹进来．这里窗台上有艾未未的一本,
Mitch Epstein的State of the Union更好看.
书店太好了,就是价钱不便宜．比如Winogrand的新书，出版商订$85,
Strand卖$76.5加税,Amazon卖$57没税还送到家.不知这书店怎么竞争?

我想了想还是把刚定的249 dx给退了...旧DX我已经用了快一年了, 刚卖掉不久又买个

不过硬皮的小说九百页基本上是上限了。一般选Paperback或者是Kindle版的吧，反正
小说在Kindle上算是最合适的了。 |

可想而知，一共八本，每本各收录一位插图大师级人物的作品，有中国的，有外国的。

确实有种似曾相识的感觉。
而张守义先生已于2008年去世了。。。。
小时候看的书有插图的不多，一般要hardcover的版本才有，而我看的大多是paperback
，唯一例外是几本儒勒凡尔纳的小说，都带了插图还不少，比如格兰特船长的儿女，神
秘岛。
插图真的是个好东西。。。
