近百名手拿港英旗市民夾道歡迎、向他送蛋撻，部份人更激動得聲淚俱下，哭求他回歸
治港。彭定康指，新聞自由、學術自主及法治精神，均屬香港自由社會的基石。對《明
報》前總編輯劉進圖遇襲，他直斥是殘忍的事，希望他盡快康復；他又指擁護一國兩制
的立埸未有改變。
前港督彭定康以牛津大學校監身份訪港，昨出席香港海事博物館與英國牛津大學博德利
圖書館合作的《針路藍縷：牛津大學珍藏明代海圖及外銷瓷》展覽開幕禮。彭定康進館
前，被現場記者問及《明報》前總編輯劉進圖遇襲時表示，即使傳媒對他本人有負面報
道，他也會捍衞香港的新聞自由。他認為香港是自由社會，自由的傳媒、獨立自主的大
學及法治，都是自由社會的基石。彭定康形容，劉進圖所遭遇到的是殘忍的事，他感到

自从此起彼伏的枪击事件以来，朋友圈里纷纷开始讨论要不要买枪。家里这位老早就想
买，我一直持反对意见，因为我自认为不是一个足够理性的人，说白了，我都不信任我
自己，我也不想碰它。但是男人是不同的，他们天性里是爱武器的，天性里是想保卫家
园的。要不为啥每个正常男孩都爱玩枪玩具。所以，当家里这位一再要求之后，我同意
了，但是把它放在我动不到的地方，反正，有坏人来，他上，我，要命不给，其他拿去。
让老师们持枪上课？
川普今天随口说，可以让老师们持枪，这话差矣！川普虽然够色够爱女人，还是不够懂
女人，也不懂做老师的难处。现在的学生有多难管！我有个当老师的朋友跟我说过，她
上课时需要花很多时间和精力管学生。老师基本上女的多，万一急了，不够理性的女老
师带枪反而给自己找麻烦。Tampa那个电影院里看电影的警察因为有观众看手机争执起
来，一着急就掏出枪把那个观众给打了。人性是软弱的。
可行的是增强学校警力，加强安全措施。女儿学校校长今天发出通知，他们已经要求市
政府加派警察在学校巡逻，上课期间关闭校门，佩戴校徽，等等。

后大部分的地方政府下放了自卫权，但随后好多地方又搞起禁枪区，而有了高院判决在
前，警察不管任何场合都不打算承担义务了，即使是在公民被剥夺了自卫权的地方，当
