排名见下。你们去过几个？我也一直很喜欢Yale Center for British Art，宽敞明亮
，袖珍而精。喜欢Constable，Turner的画作，很有代表性。
台北故宫上榜，北京故宫没上，倒是北京的789工厂榜上有名。
第50名是波士顿的museum of bad art，听着很好玩，有人去过吗？

lentown西郊的Lower Macungie人口已经超过Easton了。机场叫ABE，现在戏称要叫ABLM
郊区环境不错，好的学区有Parkland, East Penn, Southern Lehigh三个。前两个学区
华人最多。从前的Bell Lab在Allentown有很大的一个分部，现在土崩瓦解，留下了不少
和Bell Lab有渊源的小公司。
大的雇主有Lehigh University， Air Product, Lehigh Valley Hospital等。
2500 SFH 在好学区30万左右。中产阶级华人一般买35-50万，3000 sqft房子。中国超
市没有，中国点有两个，North Wales的韩国超市算是最近的，开车也有40分钟。中餐馆
有一些，好的屈指可数，很多人去North Wales， Lansdale打牙祭。
自然环境不错，绿化好，没有各种灾害。 |

宝宝没有喝下去是万幸，那东西居然是致死的。
不是我们要求转院的，是儿童医院转的，两个楼连在一起，我开始还不知道是去了另一
个医院。我觉得收费不合理是到了parkland后我们就呆在很普通的房间里，有个护士又
来给量了下心跳血压，后来又来了2个医生看了看我宝宝，说不知道是什么引起的，然
后就等着他们安排了一个床位，抽血化验什么的都在儿童医院进行完了， 他们charge
了ERC level VI$2693及其他化验费用，一共$3859。那个房间还是已经有一个病人住在
里面，他们在边上放了个crib，就什么也没干。我老公6点多从家回来告诉他们我们找
到原因了，他们也没有任何行动，等到8点半才有医生给他清洗伤口抹药。大头上他们
charge了CHG semi private $1075, ESD CHG level 5 severe $1785, CHG TRAUMA
level III $1862, Tetanus $1604。其他总共$9399. 看上面有人回复好像是医生内行

愁，离plano, Allen,prisco 看起来都远，搬到dallas的唯一动力就是孩子学校，华人
多，但是要天天路上花一个多小时觉得不值。

Parkland hospital只能Dallas county的才能用，不住在Dallas county也不qualify。
可以打电话多问几家保险经纪看看有没有什么性价比过得去的insurance plan。在美国

ridgeview 和quince orchard - 那里卖房子说的，没有确认。

几个好场子，忍不住……
7月7日 伦敦 Sunningdale Old Course
这是去年举办英国女子公开赛的球场，两周之后也要举办Senior Open Championship。
到球场的时候，一切准备工作都在进行当中。和Tournament Director聊了一会，惊讶地
发现他也是明年Ryder Cup的TD。
废话不多说。因为差点不低，所以被球场安排在Yellow Tee打，全长6063码。相当于国
内的白Tee。出门的两个洞打得特乱，因为下午2点有会员比赛，我们是1点50出门的。两
个洞丢了3个球，+9杆。
从第三洞开始，慢慢稳下来了，节奏也回来了。Par。
也就是这个时候，雨来了。真是电视里温布尔顿网球赛的那种雨啊，一分钟前还阳光明
媚，一分钟后就大雨倾盆。这下子雨就没停过，直到打到17洞。
球场真的很漂亮，毕竟是今年Golf Digest美国之外排名第10的球场（英格兰地区排名第
一）。不看球道，光看四周，是一个Parkland球场；只看球道，不看四周，是一个纯粹

排名第三的彼得堡的state hermitage museum，拍过电影russian ark，就记得金碧辉
煌，没看到什么画……
排第15的Yale Center for British Art我也常觉得比英国的画廊都好……小而精致，
各个时期和画家的代表作收集得很精，介绍也很精，看完印象很深。建筑也很宽敞明亮
，令人愉快，不过太亮是不是对画不好。
有个Doha的Museum of Islamic Art。希望有机会去。

and/or/in China的展览，到六月中截止。听着挺有趣，不知道goldy去看过没。

如果用一个词来形容西南医学中心内科，我选择“豪放”。
这个program每年大概招48个intern，以繁忙著称。PD在网页上明确鼓励申请cate的同学也同时申请prelim，我估计可能是因为advancedprogram的AMG们不大愿意在这里做第一年的原因。这在全美的即使不是独一无二，也算是别树一帜了，因为如此申请对于大多数内科categoricalprog
是不适用的。其繁忙的原因是因为最主要的附属医院parkland Hospital与纽约大部分医院类似，是一所county hospital。County hospital和community hospital略有不同的一点好像是病人多没有保险且病情危重。也正因为如此，住院医上手的机会特多，据称半年时间就可以完成
