发帖数: 1691 | 1 对于住在NYC的朋友,AC比Parx理论上远大半个小时.基于堵车时间的variance比较大,这
两个地方没差别.
AC有个很不错的outlet,偶尔有演唱会.稍微能感受到点小赌城的富丽堂皇.
Parx很boring.local气息很浓.感觉跟Pittsburgh的很像.
好像唯一能娱乐的就是里面有个看起来很fancy的club,不过咱们绝大部分都是男丁...
天气好的时候游山玩水肯定是去Mohegan Sun那边了.离罗德岛不远.还有吉利城堡啊之
类的地方. |

trip, AC seems better. For me, going to Parx just like going to WV, only
takes longer to get there. |

Parx is too stingy though, no hotels and few comps for poker.Playing in AC
at least u don't need pay for food and I got free rooms by playing little. |

buying. 几个回合, 就都深筹码了. 和有些地方的small buyin 2/5 有的一比.
这手牌里有3个人. some history
Hero, at MP. aggressive. raise often vs limpers big around 15-17$ from
lateposition and blinds. Had a hand vs utg in this hand (Asian guy) earlier.
Asian guy raised from MP 12$, I called with J10o at bb. 1 limper called
flop QJ3r, asian guy bet 20$ I called
turn was 6 and put a back door flush draw on the board.

大家提个具体时间吧，一个周末就好(最多加上周五)，俺自己除了11/24-12/1之间不在
，其他的都还可以。
地点二选一，Parx(PA)或者AC。
大家回这个贴，起码有5个ID以上确认才行。
Parx的话可以考虑扫荡饼干家，不过以不饶民为原则，还是大家出来租个房间，玩玩牌
后喝点小酒比较痛快。

play cards, we would have stayed at Commerce or go to Vegas. More important
to meet friends, hang out, etc.
We just don't know geography between Parx and Harrah's, so not sure where we
should book our hotels. Some folks gave us a poker rate code for a Parx
hotel called the Inn or something (used to be a Hilton I think?), seemed
super cheap ($50 a night). We can also use company rate at any Hilton/Hyatt

The only better poker rooms you can find around are foxwood or borgata,
which are both much farther than parx. |

Just save 1 hour drive from nyc compared to Atlantic city and foxwoods. Man,
even need to wait in restroom because 2 茅坑 are broken.

bankroll to be able to play 5/10 deep stack. Professional gambler has time
and dedication to build. Us family men do not have the luxury. Without the
proper bankroll management, it is suicide to dive in those type of game. U
might see one or two successful stories, but more of them goes busto with
their hard earned money from regular job. But I agree 1$/2$ definitely not

This guy looked decent holding a fairly big stack. i had 400. he probably
had me covered. one hand caught my attention earlier. He flat raise with Qs
preflop. called flop and folded turn with his over pair. Big mistake to
show this type of information.

Yesterday, Parx was crazy. there were so many people even at the daytime on a Friday. Maybe because it was veteran's day. a lot of action too even on a 1/2 table. When I got on the table at noon, there were 3 guys on the table with 1k+ stack and just 1 short stack. pretty amazing on a weekday. |

第一把， 没意思， EP raised 7$ couple callers, I reraised to 35,
sb short stack shoved $110, bb donked calls with 165$ left. all folded. I re-shoved all in and had both covered. sb QQ, bb didn't show. Turn was Q. luckily still made 55$ from the deeper stack.. hehe.. the original raiser 是个棒子， 他说他是JJ. big mistake to tell me what he has, 这是后话。
