first owner是租车公司，我是第三任车主。当时买车的时候检查出power steering 漏
油，换了整套花了1000（前任车主出的钱）。结果等我买了发现方向盘上所有的电器不
能用，喇叭，cruise（这个估计是修车修出来的问题），被车行宰了400多弄好。车有
两个问题，每次加完油后要踩油门20秒，否则熄火。问了很多人都不知道是什么问题，
不过好在就只有加完油后第一次启动才需要踩油门，所以也不算啥致命的问题。另一个
就是开unpave的路后check engine灯会亮，这个是O2 sensor接触不好，因为是bank 2
的所以不影响，每次unplug 电池把check engine灯熄灭，后来买了个code reader来
clear code熄灭灯。当然如果开pave的路就没啥问题，最近3年灯没亮过。中间自己换
了一次驾驶员边的电动车窗的Regulator(ebay $60买的)，自己换的。后来passagener

情形，实在是害怕。决定在入冬之前换辆新车，图个安全。考虑到家有妻儿，平时也只
走paved roads，又有强烈的压缩支出的愿望。所以选定了Subaru 08 Legacy SE
Manual. 9月初出了手，traded in了 96 Corolla (Savage Title, 90k, w/bald tires

当时就是看中车大，估计比较稳。结果这根本是我的幻想。车大是大，前驱，慢悠悠的
。不像很多车，你车门关了一会之后，所有的电源都会切断，防止要jump starter。我
们第一天，因为不熟悉，车灯没关，只能打电话让AAA来jump starter了
然后继续往黄石开，那时候开始下雪了，但是大部分路都是高速和paved road。其他车
都没事儿，就mazda5，一出加油站就陷雪里面，最后还是靠一个卡车给我们拖了出来。
一路上谨慎小心，高速都不敢开太快，否则就偏。
如果你在的地方有雪，或者你想去滑雪，就别考虑这车了。这车充其量就是个大号菜车 |

论和比较。发现其中许多对比和比较很盲目。很多不具有可比价性，比如说Car 和SUV
那个安全。发现很多人同我以前刚来U.S.时一样, 对车的认识大多都停留在表面上。
在选车对比之前，我想大家应该对不同的车有个大概的了解。这也是我写此文的目的。
希望对于刚来美国并准备选车的人，能有所启发和期到拓展视野的作用。首先声明，本
人未在任何和汽车有关的行业工作，仅出于个人爱好。有不完善之处，希望各位参与讨
论并给于补充。
初到北美时，除了对国内的夏利，桑塔那VW, Audi, Toyota，Cherokee等有点印象外（
当然还有BMW， BENZ等，不过没有机会尝试）。对其它种类的车毫无了解。和很多人一
样，别人讲那一种车好， 自己于是就认为它好；别人说那种车不好， 知己也认为它不
好。 后来才发现其实自己对北美的汽车行业和市场完全缺乏认知。第一天走在大街上
， 发现国外的车真是千奇百怪，什么样的都有，你很难找到一模一样的车一前一后同

以前旅游时开过一辆2005版的Sonata，开长途，觉得非常稳和舒服，于是
今年买了一辆2007 Sonata GLS（现在市场上的最低版本，自动档，虽然现代网站上有
手动档，但我看了至少六家dealer，没看到一家有手动档）， 觉得主要好处如下，：
1。车现在做的很大，Sonata 2007是大型车，而accord和camry 2007是中型车，因此
sonata开着那叫一个舒服，空间很大，非常方便，后座可以放倒，拉个Ikea的小沙发都
可以。
2。Sonata 即使最低版本也是用的非常大的轮子，开起来极稳，过小坑几乎感觉不到，
明显比小轮子过小坑舒服的多，噪音也小得多。其实我以前得旧车也是16（单位不知道
，^_^）的大轮子，但是和sonata 2007 17的更大轮子比，虽然不是天壤之别，但是震
动和声音减小得不是一点，因为我每天上班要固定的在高速上过一个坎，所以才敢如此
肯定得说。

我来说说吧,我男朋友开这个车，我也跟着开了不少，我不推荐这个车给有家庭的人，
首先是horrible mileage, 非常非常废油，但是又没有半点sporty car加速和好的操控
感觉，真的是很笨重很笨重的感觉，油门很重很重，高速上一点也不平稳，女生需要使
很大的劲才踩油门才能进入高速入口。和一些主流的车比起来，你开这个车就感觉可能
50年前的车大概开这就这个感觉。每次开完这个车，在换回我的车，都要适应一段时间。
再就是这个车非常的不实用，前排座位的leg room也不算很大，并不舒适，truck很小
，后排座位放平还算可以，不然基本上装不了什么。安全性方面，侧面没有airbag，侧
翻和碰撞的话，评级永远是worst，估计正面撞一下问题应该不大。
那么这个车有什么优点呢，当然首先就是off road的能力了，说实话，这个Offroad 主

发生在北卡cary 附近，才开往一个景点的路上，two-way traffic, 路很窄，限速50
mile/h, 来往的车辆速度都很快，基本都是50 mile/h。
突然，在一个急转弯 90-100 度，此前没有任何减速标志，只有一些转弯的交通标志（
沿路上有很多弯道）。车在转弯时右轮突然出线，下意识的稍微用点力试图板正，但没
效果，不小心这时用力过度，车疯狂的向左边转去，车彻底失控了，不得不打方向盘向
右转一点，结果车屁股碰倒一根柱子，车在路上开始转圈，刮起一层路面和灰，车后部
彻底毁了。幸好出事的这几秒钟内，没有任何来往的车辆！！！！！
真是上帝保！老婆和我居然没事。我们仔细下车察看了周围路况，愕然发现，该出事点
的路边树上居然放有两个年轻俩美国人的遗像，鲜花还没凋谢！ 看来该地点应该是交
通事故频发地！！！！
后来警察都慢吞吞的来......
