用sucrose cushion超速离心打下来的病毒,怎么好象很难完全重新溶解.
我第二次溶解,还有很多甚至更多于第一次的溶解下来的量.
我用的ultra clear的管子.会和病毒有专门的吸附力吗?
现在我都做两次,时间太长了.大家都怎么做? 谢谢. |

shooting, not even #00 buck always have exit wound or penetrate deep enough
into the vitals.
I agree that #1 buck is a good load in the 12 gauge because the slightly
smaller diameter is more efficient with hull space---more pellets, less
empty space/filler material.
But is that the case in the smaller 20 gauge?
In 20 ga, from #1 to #4
#1 - 10 pellet
#2 - 18 pellet
#3 - 20 pellet
#4 - 24 pellet

我在MA，房子3600尺，壁炉在一楼的一侧，stove是个insert，48000btu，一楼floor
plan比较open，但是stove附近没有楼梯通二楼。目前老人在家，炉子每天早上7点开到
晚上10点，基本上一天烧掉2包pellets。如果白天室外温度在30度左右，室内温度基本
如此分布，family room，就是有炉子的地方，轻轻松松73-75度。一层的另一端，大概
70度左右，而因为热气上升，二层的4间卧室能有三间温度达到67-68。另外一件由于在
二层的一端，和炉子的位置刚好成空间对角，温度要低一些，差不多63度左右。晚上睡
觉时各个卧室用油取暖，主要原因是要关门，但是因为白天弄得温度很高，所以夜里维
持问题不大。
已经用了三年，平均差不多一年烧一箱油，270加仑左右，加上4 ton的pellets，一共
差不多2000封顶，而且屋里很暖和，当然今年油这么贱，肯定能便宜一些。
pellet stove的维护很简单，我每周清理一次，算起来差不多每烧15袋pellet左右就清

经过调试和测子弹速度决定的。目的是希望子弹的速度
差别比较小。这个是没有 regulator 的 PCP, 有 regulator
的情况不一样。
例如打气到 25000 PSI, 32 pellets 以后降到 2000 psi.
从 2000 psi 打气到 2500 psi, 如此反复。
这样出来的 pellet 速度差别不超过比如说 30 fps. 一般来说
应该是个钟型的分布。就是 2250 PSI 附近的子弹速度
是最高的，两头都比较低。
在这种情况下，如果你只有一个气瓶，气瓶低于 2500 PSI
你就要去打气了，否则你要么减少 pellet 数目，要么就出
了那个最优的钟型曲线了。也就是说，你打完 32 发
要低于 2000 PSI。这一组 pellet 速度差别超过 30 fps.
如果你有两个瓶，你的气瓶是 2200 PSI。 显然不能把 PCP

在下面两边吃出两个小缺口来。现在我的新鲜草（草地上拔掉的
杂草）也放到草架上了。现在就看看下面的吃完了上面会不会落
下来。我的观察是草如果不是塞进去的话应该可以落下来。塞进
去的可能会卡。不过兔子应该够得到。
我发现这种大的 timothy pellet 不用掰开兔子也能吃，省我很多事。
当然还是 alfalfa pellet 好吃，兔子把 alfalfa pellet 先挑出来
吃掉。剩下的 timothy pellet 饿了才吃。挑食。
小黑兔喜欢欺负小黄兔。小黄兔脾气特别好，现在已经学会不和小

I normally do 100ml culture size. Here is how I did this:
1. small culture of the bacteria from glycerol stock O/N, about 6-8ml.
2. transfer the small culture to 100ml 2xYTA medium in the next day morning
, shaking at 300rpm, 37degrees.
3. it ususally takes about 1hr 40min - 2 hrs to have an OD600 around 0.75.
4. add IPTG (stock 100mM) 100ul to get a final concentration of 0.1mM.

了。真正的risk是如果停电就不好用了，不过我们这里很少停电，这也是决定pellet
stove的一个原因。

发帖数: 22 | 43 近日试打了几种.177 气枪弹。体会如下：
1.Beeman N&H match & JSB Exact
贵，准，干净。是首选。
2.RWS Hobby & Gamo Match
RWS 便宜，较准，干净但较轻也许有的枪不喜欢。
Gamo 便宜，较准，脏。用后手上，枪上到处是铅削。
3.Crosman Permeier Domed
精度较差，不是纯铅的，会在枪管里留下残留物（特别是900f.p.s.)以上。
我的1377不准应该与大量使用（2000发以上)Crosman弹有关。
以上体会基于低速枪，有不妥之处，敬请拍砖。
近日发现我的Crosman1377精度下降，无奈之下，试着擦洗枪管。
（气枪枪管就像相机镜头--娇气，能不碰它尽量别碰。）
具体步骤：
1.让DW40在枪管里停留一会儿，用尼龙耍涮洗。
再用通条和棉球（或纸团）清干净DW40。
2.用一Beeman Quick Cleaning Pellet沾Beeman MP5一次。
再用Beeman Quick Cleaning Pellet两次（Cleaning Pellet具体使用方法参考说明
书）
清洗后的结果很好很 |

crack the pork rib bones I got from the grocery store. A pointed pellet with
twice the velocity is likely to be able to penetrate human skulls at close
range. |

I was wrong.
Just found out Gamo offers plastic-tip pellets (same as hollow point) TOO. I
have a gamo .177 that shoots over 1000fps for lead pellets and 1200fps for
Gamo's brass pellets. One friend of the board even posted a story that
somebody killed a deer with the same gun. Amazing. |

Have you tried shooting into a tub of margarine?
Once there was this stale tub of margarine that LD was throwing away. I took
it out of the trash, put it in the pellet trap with the opening toward me,
and put a bullseye target in front of it. I shot a single pellet into the
bullseye and next thing I know margarine was flying everywhere. I took away
the target and found a big crater in the margarine tub, and half of the
content was expelled out onto walls and floor in front of the pellet trap |

at the bottom of the tub, just as it would on a paper target.
I wonder if there's something else at play here. The speed of the pellet mig
ht have exceeded the sound speed in margarine, and created a shock wave that
displaced the material. |

The plastic disk the wadcutter punched out was barely larger than the diamet
er of the pellet. I have putty in the back of the pellet trap and the flat p
ellet head was sitting squarely on top of the plastic disk in the putty. The
re was no sign of tumbling.
From a more theoretical standpoint, bullets tumble because they are aerodyna
mically (or hydrodynamically in animal tissues) unstable. Airgun pellets are
