费站，也不知道要交toll，结果今天收到罚单，说除了要补交toll之外还要交57.5的
penalty。。。。
罚单是一个叫做The Toll Roads的公司出的，好像是这个local route 73的owner。想
请问一下这个能不能像local parking ticket一样不交啊？他们会不会来催帐啊，或者
以后去加州会不会有麻烦？或者能不能打电话去appeal？如果只交toll不交penalty就
还OK。

you gotta weight in the cost of extermination and court cost if you want to
go that slow and painful route.
i would suggest writing a letter to mgt again asking them to correct the
problems.
Then, if they still don't correct the problem, try to negotiate an early
notice for terminating the lease (using your earlier complain letter against
them), so they could prepare to rent it out right after you leave, and
maybe you could work out a better penalty fee than what's listed |

按CBO估算的上限：14 million drop out，按median household income是$50,000的2.
5%计算,一个人$1,250，就是17.5 Billion。这点钱真心不值得IRS这么折腾，给所有人
多发税表，给每个企业增加工作量去研究obamacare compliance等等（最关键是那些公
司给付保险的，本来跟individual healthcare market没毛关系，现在一下多了好多工
作量去研究compliance，这等于是为了20 million人的问题叫200 million人去麻烦）。
所以说GOP的法案不错，你不买保险pay penalty是你自己的事，不是其它2亿美国人民
的事。乐见minimum essential
coverage终于被官方的干掉了（我之前论证过其实即使不官方干掉，没有了mandate,
minimum essential coverage就已经不复存在了）。
今天的投票希望能过，如果不能过，希望2018年的时候川总发力把tea party一群人干

几年前去一个dealer问一个CPO的二手车价，人家说只有贷款买才能享受优惠，假设优
惠价格是20k，现金买就没优惠，要付23k。
我理解这是dealer需要在finance上再赚一笔。但如果允许客户提前payoff的话，（极
端情况下刚提车就立马全款payoff），客户就应该可以节省finance上的利息。
请问通常车贷能否立刻payoff？一般有没有 early prepayment penalty?

首先收入成份不清楚。如果除了W2上的收入还有其他投资收入，最后平均税率会低一点。
另外，税率是分级的。到了高一级，也只是超过部分收高税。其实税交多的前提还是挣
钱比别人多。
还有，交的税是按AGI算的，不是总收入。如果一个家庭总收入到了36万，应该有更多
抵税工具可以用。这种收入花点钱做tax planning应该也值得
