两个信各有一段话，大意是我们的杂志很牛，排名5-10%，reviewer都得是牛人。因为
我有international recognition, 所以邀请我，我review的很好，然后就没了。。
请问 杂志油灯图指的是什么呀？
推荐信和证明信里没有用到 top small percentage的话 只说了是因为我的
international acclaim 和 recognition, 所以邀请我
我是一个非常新的当然也很差的杂志的编辑。。。 申请的时候觉得太弱了，直接拿掉
没提
我不明白的是，这个io是质疑我整体不是small percentage 还是 只有 review 不是
small percentage呀？ 在我的回复里， 是应该只强调review还是应该结合
contribution一起说明small percentage呀？ |

享下。RFE的response其实也就是再重新组织材料，重新写的petition letter.
看到RFE， 我感觉IO根本没怎么看我的petition letter, 所以在准备response的时候
，都时时考虑，如果IO粗略扫一眼的话，他能不能get the point. 所以用了很多下划
线，加粗之类的highlight 关键词。格式上每一项，每一小项都分清楚。那些个比较复
杂的证据，如果不是非常强，宁可不要。

认为是属于本领域内的top small percentage，不会出现三条都符合，但是还算不上
top small percentage；而且，不需要三条都是top small percentage。
如果没被接受为top small percentage，基本上都是因为没能证明original
contribution of major significance。
关于original contribution of major significance，在看了很多资料后，我的理解
是这样的：
发在牛杂志上算不上证据，
单纯引用数目多效力也有限，
有效的证据如下：
1. 被非review文章引用为权威之作，高度评价；或者结果被采用，应用，重复，被当
作基础做进一步的研究
2. 被review文章详加介绍
3. 推荐信里确证了上面的两条

但是，比赛的时候，shot selection最根本一条得是high percentage
percentage上不来说啥都白搭，某些角度某些情况我深知我要猛抽肯定出界的，那我还
自杀干啥
比赛不是比自杀，是比point啊，呵呵
等平常练习到猛抽的percentage都高到一定程度，自然比赛里就能用的
还有的时候打回对方手底，一个道理，球从哪来回哪里去成功率最高
等机会来了，穿越球，winner，当然要抓住啦
当然也得看对手，比如打回去对手必定抽死我，那我肯定就得冒险主动变线了，虽然我
的percentage降低了
但是跟必然被抽死比起来还是合算的。
当全pusher不是人人能当的了的，我就是想当也没那个体格，呵呵 |

number. You are talking about percentage. It's not a fair comparison in
percentage given the enormous chinese population and number of students.
Thes percentage is always low no matter how you slice the data. |
