was much better, we did not have much of issue finding the route. Carried
quite few ice screws and pickets, but used none. Decent is also not too bad,
most path was covered by snow. Snow was getting soft later in the day, but

meter ROPE,snow shovel...
估计包的重量超过了得55磅
天热，雪化的厉害，有时一脚下去就陷进去了,耗了很多体力
现在开始买轻的装备了.
再就是SOLO不可能,有可能送命.
这趟的目的达到了,就是感觉glacier travel，自己给自己上一课。 |

发帖数: 171 | 6 2012年7月4日到7月7日之间，我，Leo和Kai一起沿Liberty Ridge路线攀登并成功登顶
了位于美国西雅图附近的Mt Rainier山。Liberty Ridge是Mt Rainier北面的一条山脊
，它的左右两边分别是雪崩不断的Willis Wall和Liberty Wall。线路精华部分便是沿
着这条山脊登至Liberty Cap，然后再经山顶的平台抵达火山口Columbia Crest。山脊
攀登的难度大概是55度雪坡，在接近Liberty Cap的地方有大概两段绳距的AI2的冰坡。
这条路线也是北美50大经典攀登路线（Fifty Classic Climbs of North America）之
一。虽然在这五十条路线中，Liberty Ridge相对技术难度较低，但路线对体力和后勤
的要求却非常高。一般的攀登周期大概在三天左右，从最低点海拔4400英尺（1340米）
的White River营地出发，到山顶Columbia Crest海拔14416英尺（4394米），高差达到

Nothing I can do to the downswing, however, I tired not to get many chips in
the pot in the early stage, I would easy fold some big pocket pair. In the
late stage, play very aggressive with it. People tends to play more small
pair in the early stage when your 5BB raise is still only 100 chips. In the

发帖数: 809 | 12 凌晨2点半起床，3点早饭。依旧是明朗的月、璀璨的星，我们的运气真好，两个climb
都碰上了这样的好天。早饭仍然只有干面包加热水，吃过饭、装了两个三明治在包里就
乘着夜色出发了。虽然站在帐篷外并不觉得冷，但按照上次的经验，我没有脱羽绒服。
高原上走不快，日出之前慢慢走是不至于出汗的。刚开始是比较平缓的trail，zig-zag
的爬坡。上到5000米垭口之前的最后一段路是在moraine的碎石堆上直接往上爬。还在
碎石堆下面的时候，就看到山脊的高度有两盏头灯晃来晃去，到近处才看到就是昨天碰
到的那个南非gg和他的Partner，估计是在黑暗里又没有现成的路，找不到翻过山脊的
垭口。垭口之后，是一段贴着山脊的向右traverse的路，基本有trail可以follow。
6点多，trail traverse上山脊之后，天光大亮。之后基本就是沿着山脊在走了。开始
是些平缓的硬雪，之后有个稍微有点坡度的硬雪坡。
Diablo Mudo相对Pumarinri来说比较简单在两点：一是雪硬，而且我们的路线估计背阳
，日出之后很长时间也没晒软；二是有点像Mt. Adams的顶上，雪被风塑造出了一个个

发帖数: 809 | 13 凌晨一点被一阵山崩地裂般的闹铃声给吼醒了，Ervin估计怕跟昨天一样又睡过了，铃
声调的那个响啊，可怜宿舍里其他不用早起的了... 简单收拾了东西，到餐厅吃早饭。
餐厅的一个角落里还睡了好些人，估计是没订到床位的。欧洲的mountain hut这点还是
蛮好的，无论有没有预定、还有没有空位，总不会让投宿的人无家可归。早饭是真少，
拼起来还没有一片面包大，好在事先知道，自己准备了点吃的。快两点的时候正式出发
，这里的海拔还不算太高，屋外倒是一点也不冷。Ervin全程short rope我们，不过他
的手里留了很长一段绳子，所以如果fall了，他放开绳子、我们之间还是可以有一段很
长的缓冲。一小段穿过Tete Rousse冰川的路后，来到了Aiguille du Gouter的脚下。
沿着山坡爬到顶上Gouter木屋的这段路是整条线路的crux，我感觉是class 3的
scramble，冰岩混合地形，有点暴露就是了。我们前面已经有不少人了，遥望山坡上星
星点点的灯光。白天下来的时候看到路线上有不少红色的指路标记，不太容易走错；如

一开始低估了树根的威力），虽然在床底铺了硬纸板和weed barrier，但没几个月就被
树根突破了，菜地里都是树根须，菜无论怎么施肥都不长了。于是沿着篱笆开始挖沟，
打算竖着放些barrier。不过这样离树可能太近了，挖出来的树根粗的快有小手臂粗了
，想问一下这种根锯断了会搞死树吗？还有沟里埋picket（就是篱笆板子）来阻挡树根

先买了一个6刀的CH牌的指针式picket gauge，用它检测costco新装的轮胎，开了大概
3000迈，做rotation的时候，costco说我的四个轮子“severely underflated”，“
excessive wear”。
然后买了一个11刀的Monkey Grip，也是指针式的，比第一个要大一圈，用这个气压计
校准过的轮胎就比较准了。
我觉得10刀以下的gauge误差太大。

2. Always start early. 7:30am start time on day 2 is too late.
