a. 当地工资水平- 在肯尼亚，除了内罗比，整个国家基本是一个大的野生动物园，
并没有很
多城市，内罗比作为首都，一线城市,如果是在比较好的咖啡厅工作的员工，月工资大
概200USD, 公
司工作的文员大概200USD, 初级的公司技术人员比如会计月薪大概300usd, 在工作3年
和五年之
后，会计大概可以拿到500usd, 大公司的主管级别。以次可以推算一个旅行社的司机，
一天的工资
成本大概也就是10-15usd 左右。

行社。可好不容易找到那里，人家根本就不卖汽车票。被出租车七转八转带到了汽车站，
一问，又犯了难。直达的国际巴士后天才有车，而且现在路况比较差，估计车要在边界
停留一晚，这样，整个行车时间会长达28个小时，而且后天才走，严重打乱了我们后面
马里的行程。而到边界的国内巴士，倒也不贵，不到20刀，还有空调。不过到边界小镇
凌晨两点，这大半夜的多少有些瘮人——人在西非，什么事情都可能发生。当然这本也
不是什么大问题，picnic说服我放弃大巴的主要理由是，怕我正在发作的腰椎间盘突出，
在经历这20多个小时的大巴之后，会越发严重，那就真因小失大了。我想想也是，也决
定放弃大巴的改搭飞机的想法。
根据我那两天的做的功课，知道阿克拉直飞瓦加杜古的航线只有布基纳法索航空公
司一家在飞。我们又打车到了布航办事处。进去一问，又让我们多了一份失望。直飞的

园子里面没有正规餐厅，只有在Cades Cove Campground store里面有food bar卖
sandwich， pizza之类的，其它几个visitor center只有vending machine。所以午餐
基本上要带，除非愿意开到园外小镇上吃。园子里的picnic area不少，有的还有烧烤
架，有时间的话烧烤也不错，部分地方冬天不开放。部分picnic area还有带seat的

另外，Blue Ridge Parkway上有的overlook也可以picnic，一般有1-2个site，没
有烧烤架，比如Big Witch Overlook就有两个点。

化反而会影响他们对中文的兴趣。
比如说现在，两岁半的娃在我边上picnic：他兴致勃勃地铺开一个摊子，摆开食物，然
后自言自语地说那些东西有多好吃。这些食物中除了pizza都用中文了，我表示满意。
但picnic这个词我不会强迫他说“野炊”或者“野餐”。我们小时候的野餐吃法做法都
跟他们的picnic不一样，picnic在美国生活中的角色也跟我们的野炊不一样。这么说吧

一年一度的科大北卡校友聚会的时候又到了。今年的聚会将于九月九日，星期天在
Morrisville 的 Lake Crabtree Park举行。欢迎所有曾在中国科大或中科院学习或工
作过的校友和老师们,以及家人和朋友们,都来参加这个科大校友聚会。聚会形式和往年
一 样，Potluck and BBQ Picnic. 请每个家庭自带一,两道菜，与大家分享， 同时聚
会组织者们将提供BBQ 烧烤，水果，饮料，及餐饮用具。希望每个有工作的家庭捐献10
美元用于支付这次活动场地租金及饮料和食品的费用。学生免费。
时间：九月九日，星期天，11:00am-5:00pm

除了其他自己已经安排好carpool的朋友，请大家使用下面链接找到carpool的文档申请
或接受carpool成员，你如果是driver把已有的乘客名字填在自己那一栏后面的
passenger里面，希望申请carpool的看看driver后面的空着的话，就可以把自己的名字
填进去。 大家记好自己driver和passenger的名字，在集合后找到对方。（注：文档双
击就可以编辑，编辑后不用保存，自动的）

记得打印一份活动安排（地址、时间等）和contact的list。先到达的请帮占好一个好
的picnic的地方，人数估计在40-50人左右。
以下是一些注意事项：
1。带好Lunch/饮料大家一起potluck
2。带一些一次性的盘子、叉、杯子和纸巾。
3。picnic是铺在草地上的beach towel/沙滩巾
4。一次性铺桌子的塑料布
5。sunscreen
6。water
7。model的建议着装：单色为主，最好和紫色能搭配起来，白色，黄色，淡紫色，大摆
