不管是日车，美车，还是德系车都有用 boron steel.
车子防侧撞，主要是 side door beam, sill, under body cross members, A-B
pillars and roof cross members, 基本上就是整个框架的强度，以保证 safety cage
内变形小，尽量减少入侵乘客空间。车门的那层薄薄的钢皮(0.75 还是0.8mm)真的没有
什么用.

这个是测量车身被侧撞后车身一侧到中线的距离，MDX比Touareg弱太多了吧。考虑到两
个车的宽度（变形幅度）和重量（受力差异），差距就更大了。
这个review也就是比个皮毛，论车身强度和powertrain，MDX比Touareg差远了。
肥力还想拿MDX跟sedan比操控，更搞笑。

呢？
车是侧撞，驾驶员侧车门被撞侧气帘爆出，其他地方没事，就我看来，其实就把那个门
换了就行了。但是看修车单，他们好像把附近的地方都拆了然后再装上，估计是要看一
下有没有其他相关的地方被撞坏了。
车架没有受损，不过修车单上有个repair: pull a-pillar不知道是什么意思。
Title我倒是不太关心，车被撞了肯定不好卖，卖也卖不出好价，还是自己开划算 |

光看图片确实没法判断，看数据的话，lower hinge pillar这一项数据：
CAMRY，向driver方向位移37cm；A4，位移28cm
small overlap损害最严重的就是腿部，所以看这一项数据就已经很能说明问题了
再quote官方的说明
"safety cage needs to resist crash forces that aren't tempered by crush-zone
structures"
也就是说，small overlap考验的是safety cage如何抵抗crush-zone结构未能缓冲的能量
crush-zone结构，包括你说的subframe，主要分布在车前身中间50%的区域，这对
moderate overlap来说影响还是比较大的
但small overlap的测试点是外侧的25%，已经几乎没有太大影响了
下。 |

ordered. We made a tri-city tour with it, and here are my 2 cents.
Very easy to drive. Parking is a bit challenging, but it's just a matter of
practice.
Acceleration is pretty fast for a 4 cylinder minivan. Easy to make my way
among those big trucks.

动锁住。用手吧那锁往下拨，一放手它会自动弹上来。（好的那边的门的锁往下拨它
会自动扣住）。
打电话给volvo roadside assistance对方说2小时后会派人来tow, 吧towing公司电话
也给我了，两小时以后没人来，我们打电话给towing 公司，对方说根本没人让他们来
tow。再打电话给volvo, 对方说‘哦towing公司不愿意来了，太晚了‘。
第二天早上，由于是周六，volvo找不到towing公司愿意来tow，好不容易找到一家，还
要收费100多。
只能再打电话给geico, geico找到一家，拖到了离家最近并且service 部门开门的
volvo dealer, 好歹给送去了。最后towing fee 付了$140. (geico emergency road
service 只 cover 11 miles, towing 公司开了19mile, 在加上两个桥的过路费）。

发帖数: 9999 | 37 纯属个人经验。我买过的新车有在德国装配的德车，在日本装配的日车，在美国装配的
美车，和在美国装配的日车。装配质量最好的是在日本装配的日车，整车基本上找不到
什么缝隙不均匀，胶条不平整，甚至连每个窗户角胶条拐弯的地方都找不出什么暇癖，
但问题是看不到的地方比如驾驶座脚下就基本上是糊弄的，地毯连包边都没有，毛边就
那么翘着。整车开起来有点松松垮垮的，不过虽然用料cheap，但零件都是很细心的装
在一块的。
其次是在德国装配的德车，跟上面的差不多，但极个别的细节比如密封条拐弯处不同窗
户有细微的差别。好的地方是不管是不是看得见的地方都做足功课，地毯，headliner
什么的即使在看不见的地方也找不出什么毛病。另外感觉用料好，按钮，开关的阻尼很
舒服，开了6年没有一点松散的感觉，跟刚买回来没什么区别。
然后是在美国装配的日车，装配质量很日本装配的相比差了一大截（当然是两个不同品
牌，不好直接对比）。乍一看不错，但仔细看，窗户密封条不均匀，车门开关门阻力不
一致，虽然号称是豪华品牌，但以这样的fit and finish，实在难跟豪华搭上边。

如果冲击是轴向的，比如A-C pillar的弧线，冲击从前下方进来的时候。
ring就完全没帮助了，应该也是实心更好。
