另外，试这款车有什么要注意的？CTS2004-2007款被recall过几次，front break hose

model has the similar design (I could be wrong though). In that case the
only problem that could happen is running out of steering fluid (which seems
to be the case for the mercedes) |

上突然 没有了 steering control,还好速度不快，没有发生事故 。今天dealer看了车
，说是rod halfway cut导致要 replace rack and pinion, left front upper
control thrust arm with bushing,零件加人工，要4000。dealer说rod被人cut了一半
，所以不在warrenty范围内。我觉得挺冤的，我什么错也没有， 车也有warrenty竟然
要付这么多钱。而且听上去也很离奇，就是有人要害我，也不用去cut rod，还cut刚好
一半。dealer还说他们也不能确定这个cut是什么时候发生的。cut后车也能开，什么时
候出事都是随机的 。想问问大家，这种情况有没有什么argue的空间。多谢了！ |

02 VW Jetta (MK4) 1.8T with 5-speed tiptronic.
车加速时猛抖，经查前右轴boot破损、前右轮内侧严重磨损。
轮胎已经跑了八九万了，正好要换，决定换前轴及四个轮胎。
零件是从Rockauto.com买的，轮胎从discountedtires.com买，也收到了。
参考资料有本特利的书及网上的DIY教程。
难题一堆，基本上属于边琢磨边干活。
首先就是轮轴上的那个大螺丝，30mm 12-point的套筒跑了四家店才找到。
然后气枪不够力，换大扳手上，松开了。期间车子撑起来放下去来回折腾。
卸车轮、刹车和刹车盘容易。车轴也推出轮毂了。
难题来了：要卸变速箱一侧的六个大螺丝（连接前轴和变速箱）的话，得先卸挡热板，
那三个螺丝超难够，有一个根本看不见，就靠手摸。
想是不是从上面够下来。然后发现前盖打不开了，我靠。然后拆拉手，最后开了盖子，
发现够不着还得从底下干。顺便润滑了前盖的锁定机构。
躺在车底下，油烟掉身上脸上头发上，手伸到狭窄的空间里干活，死活卸下来了，装回
去的时候又瞎摸了足足有十分钟。

Sometimes on older cars a nut/bolt that secure the tire can stress out and
break. So check nothing is missing or loose first.
After that, the wheel bearing could be worn, rack & pinion tie rod or tie
rod end could be worn, even control arm bearings/bushings could be old.
Based on your posting so far, you can not tell what is wrong yourself (other
than check for loose or missing lugs). Ask the shop to give you list of

费力很多，刚出现的问题前几天还一切正常；power steering pump 感觉应working，
power steering belt 有些正常磨损裂纹，fluid level正常，由于以前漏油，
steering rack & pinion刚换一两年但皮带较松但一直如此（很久就发现了但自己不会
调紧想额外换一根也不会需要工具把pulley拆下来所以作罢），请教下可能什么问题 |

件，190的人工。
看修车的都是拉里邋遢的小年轻，有点不太相信修车的，怕他们不给我把油滴干净，然
