temperature.
Also, switch on the faucets (especially those that connect to pipes in the
walls facing outside) to let it drip-this way the water inside the pipe is
slowly flowing and thus won't burst pipe because of cold weather. |

The pipe is connected to the sink in the restroom too, I fill the sink and
then let the water run down through the pipe several times and no leaking.
the water just cover the bottom of the pipe when running, this may be
difference, water run down from toilet bowl is quick and with high volume.

好问题。交待一下：在我挖好沟之后，其实footer那里有以前的drain，不是管子，就
只是鹅卵石。我查过code，如果土质排水性好，那么鹅卵石的drain是可以的。我挖掉
了原来的鹅卵石（因为混了土，而且也不够多），铺透水布；填新的鹅卵石，然后是
drain pipe，然后又是鹅卵石，上面透水布再卷包起来。
问题是我的drain pipe要drain到哪里去？我做了两面墙，还有一面墙以后做；这已经
做的墙和以后做的墙的交界处是最低的地方；按照code要求，footer dain要么drain
to day light（自流出地面），要么连去city rain drain，要么在离房子N feet更远
处（N忘记了，可能是10）造一个旱井用来渗水，或者是sump pump。我因为还有一面墙
没做，所以我新安装的pipe就在两面墙交界处终止在原来的鹅卵石里。原来的鹅卵石是
不是继续走到city drain我就不知道了。计划是下一步继续做最后一面墙（总共就三面
），然后看情况，是挖旱井，还是顺藤摸瓜看原来的drain到何处去，还没有进行计划
。可能会安排个sump pump，室外的。

然就在CABINET的下面打个洞，下面是RANG HOOD，HOOD里有FILTER就完事了。

water won't damage your ceiling.
The open PVC pipe most likely is the drain vent, don't cover it.
The other copper pipe (#1) is the refrigerant pipe, seems like is not well
insulated, just go to homedepot buy a piece 1/2" insulation to wrap it then
you won't see the condensate anymore. |

I also need to buy exhaust pipe etc. May I ask where you got those? Do you

补充一下：如果有像我家一样只有garden hose connector的,要买3/4 garden hose
thread (GHT)的,要买GHT (MHT-Male HT or FHT-Female HT)到National Pipe Thread
(NPT, or MIP-Male Iron Pipe or FIP-Female Iron Pipe)的转换。因为compressor
上的Quick Connect一般是转到1/4 MIP的。
我没找到3/4 GHT到1/4 MIP的adapter,只好 3/4 GHT -> 1/2 NPT -> 1/4 NPT ->
Quick Connect
还有就是买的时候MIP/FIP的1/4inch不要和OD/ID 1/4英寸混淆。 |

说sink不漏，是下面的管子漏，搞一下207。说是有warranty，再漏免费来修，所以不
需要担心。我老婆也不懂plumbing，就让他修了。
这哥们换了pipe后，终于承认sink也漏了，说是要换sink，200 labor再加材料费。我
老婆问他不是207管修好，还有warranty吗。他说pipe是修好了，也不漏了，你这sink
是新地方，得另外给钱。
我觉得他就是骗我老婆啊，207换个pipe，这个要这么贵吗，我在家都是自己换的，很
简单啊，就是塑料管子拧一拧。而且我去看的时候没看到管子漏水啊。漏的水池根本没
修啊。我们叫他走了，太不靠谱了。

但是他没有说如果换Deck 加多少钱, 这可能是个漏洞,

第二家有指出加铺diamond deck underlayment,
楼主是在北方吧 所以要铺六呎以上的ice guard,
其他的部分就要铺这个underlayment or felt paper

SingleVent II 是个知名牌子, 其他两家没有指名, 也要问一下,

pattern and use new pcv pipe. you need to get primer and PVC cement to
connect pipe and may need to cut pipe to fit. check valve does not matter
too much since the backup is rarely activated
sump pit cover need to be sealed with caulk which is a pain in the ass
suggest marine battery for backup.
don't use battery that needs to add water. it's a super pain in the ass to

stick a hard pipe into that space if you don't cut open a considerable sized

between pipe and wall without cutting access holes along the route? |

Then your installer probably did it wrong.
If he only cut one hole above your island, one hole on the wall, and somehow
he could route a pipe between the two holes, then unless it was a very
short run, he must have used flexible pipes.
Flexible pipes should not be used for range hood exhaust. Not only are they
inefficient for the purpose, but they would eventually crack and leak, and
you would then have a mess on your hand. |

your local water utility should have the grains per gallon number. If you
use the whole house water softener, the gallons of water you use each day *
grains per gallon * 10-15 days = capacity needed for water softener.
installation is not hard if you understand how to work with water pipes.
you will need some planning to split the routing of pipes if you want
certain faucets to not use softened water. for example your bathroom cold
water faucets and toilets.

在网上和这个版上看了不少帖子，感觉和我碰的问题都不是很一样。
6年旧的楼上独立空调，以下是我已经试过或确认过的:
1.室内风扇和温度控制和户外风扇都正常运转
2.condenser应该也正常运转，因为可以听到AC liquid line (细铜管)内冷却剂流动的
声音。
3.air filter已经换了新的，外面condenser也用水清洗过。
4.draining pipe已经用Clorox通过了，肯定没有堵上。
5.draining pan里有一点水，不多，感觉evaporator coil可能原先有点结冰，已经通
过停止空调再加吹风去除冰了。
6. Evaporator所在的box摸上去挺冷，也有冷风从缝隙里漏出来,感觉evaporator coil
还是在制冷的
7. Ac liquid line摸着挺冷，但是AC suction line （保温材料包着的粗铜管)和环境
温度一样，不冷。网上文章说这不正常， AC suction line应该是 cold to touch.

the end of Sep, although it could be sooner. My procedures apply to my in-
ground vinyl liner pool. I assume other types of pools are similar.

limit 4 pCi/L so you are not off too much.

，我一分钱没给他，因为不知道他说的是真是假，也没有给我fix；第二个plubmer是
angiest list上找的，评价很高，果然很快就发现问题，告诉我树根钻到sewer pipe里
了，说这是很常见的问题（我同事告诉我她家也有同样的问题），用一个带锯的snake
，把树根都锯掉，拖出来了。话了差不多400刀，但是至少问题解决了。告诉我以后可
以用chemical把pipe里的树根杀死。 |

the air going through the vent (vent CO2 to roof) just warm air. But if it
