斯真名叫Max Keyser。后来的keyser家族里也有律师、地产商等。其他所谓家族里的姓

这个药最早是由 Schering-Plough开发的，这个公司在２００９年被 Merck 买下.
Boceprevir 属于蛋白酶抑制剂，特异性的抑制hepatitis C virus 的一个蛋白酶NS3
protease ，而导致病毒蛋白不能被完全处理而无法组装和成熟.
由于丙种肝炎病毒的寄主特异性和在体内的感染过程的特殊性。该病毒目前没有有效的
体外细胞培养系统，也缺乏可以大规模筛选的动物模型，所以无法采用小分子筛选方式
。该药的开发几乎是纯粹由蛋白结构研究和binding prediction 推导开的，在对NS3
protease进行结晶之后，研究组在一些已知信息的基础上，对蛋白酶的活性基团serine 的侧链进行了抑制物设计
。在得出了最初的蛋白多肽lead 之后进行了进一步的优化，
最终得出了一个最有效的分子结构。

临一家制药公司的噩梦：2002年12月，该公司销量巨大的抗过敏药Cl
aritin的专利权将到期。普通药制造商正在四周盘桓，急不可耐地希
望从Claritin每年30亿美元的销售额中分一杯羹。该产品的销售占先
灵葆雅总收入近1/3。
为防患于未然，先灵葆雅采取了一种“代谢物防御”(metabolite
defense)战略，这是制药业知识产权战中一种不为人知的、眼下却日
见流行的策略。先葆雅起诉了10家普通药制药商，要求他们从现在起
17个月内停止出售仿制的抗过敏药物。在这些诉讼案中，先灵葆雅声

工作，譬如最近已去和即将去Pfizer, Ann Arbor就地摆摊招人的公司计有BMS, Merck,

小公司及电话邮件联系的。倘若在小的被裁了，不但没这待遇，估计还得当天滚人。 |

some serious problems and had everything frozen (salary increase, bonus, etc
). But now they are doing pretty good. Actually, they usually offer higher
salary than many major pharmas to attract people. |
