untrued，后derailleur bent。
结论：
1.mm姐姐和自行车不可共处。

puncture resistant. However, the seller told me the side wall is not as
strong.
Unfortunately, this tire deflated after I quickly ran over a pothole (I
suspected it is because of my tire pressure was a little bit low). The left
side of the tire got an one inch long cut.

出去试试。
骑车到目的地，一路上就觉得这MTB真稳当，什么cracks，potholes一律视而不见，轻
松碾过. 目的地是离家不远的一个 reservoir。 到了以后发现有很多人都在trail上跑
步。在trail 上骑了一会，就换到bike trail上去了。这bike trail 很窄，而且有很
多rocks, 开始的时候我还有点害怕，后来慢慢意识到我骑的是29er，根本就没事，才
放心大胆的骑。遇到大下坡，我就退缩了，怯怯的推车......
再说说这摔吧，今天摔了两次。第一次是过桥，桥边有个curb，我要冲上去的，冲之前
，心理嘀咕了一下，脚上下意识的clip off....（忘了说了，我装了cleats）,结果就
是慢动作般的摔倒了河边的草丛里，摔下去了以后，我就笑了，这就叫“阴沟里翻船”

第一条我也不完全同意，主要精力还是要集中在前方路面情况。两周前，我们俱乐部就
有人因为观察侧后方情况结果摔车的。
同意你说的。但是我觉得你说的这个情况，主要责任在于司机。如果不能确认前方视野
，你避让他也不应该超车。还好对面的骑车人没事儿。另外，即使马路不是特别狭窄，
有时候靠边骑也是不安全的，因为有可能有井盖，pothole之类的。这也是为什么交规
规定如果骑车超骑车人，要留出足够空间，因为骑车人有可能随时会因为这些情况移到
马路中间。
我们这里有很多的红绿灯等候处，停车线前有专门标注出的bike box，就是为了自行车
等待红灯的时候，骑车能够看到。
有的bike trail还是和行人共用的，有时候行人，尤其是小孩子会做出unpredictable
move，这个时候对于骑车人威胁非常大。还有人遛狗不拴狗。。。有的司机有一个思想
误区，就是如果有bike trail，骑车人就不应该在公路上行驶。我就曾经因为这个被人
yell at过。其实这是不对的。不是所有的bike trail都适合公路车的（例如有的路段

在Moab住的第三个也是最后一个晚上了，从旅馆出发沿着191往南去同属于Canyonlands
NP的The Needles。今天去的部分和前两天去的分列在科罗拉多河的两岸，回忆了一下
，应该是昨晚在Moab主街的北端过的河。出发的早，太阳还被前面的山挡着，真冷，车
两侧挂满了霜；不过等太阳一跳出来，就得赶紧戴墨镜了。这一段191左侧的山景还不
错，路边有几个观景点我们都没有停。看到一块大岩壁上三个大大的红字：Rock N
Hotel，（窑洞？）车过的时候瞅了瞅，山洞倒是看到了，旅馆不知所踪。沿路还看到
了些拱门。右边有一条岔路是去The needles overlook的，犹豫了一下没走，怕跟
Delicate Arch的overlook一样要望远镜才能看清。向右拐上去公园的岔路后还要开半

发帖数: 25 | 37 上周六去踩了最后10 mile的点，一大早7点从1st Ave & 60th st出发，车不算太多，
但是过马路的时候还是要小心，最好几个人一起看。1st Ave上pothole很多，注意崴脚
。Willis Ave Bridge附近在修路，要从左边的台阶上桥。过Madison Ave Bridge的时
候要从桥的右侧上，否则下桥就到Madison而不是5th了。这次马拉松的路线里把Bronx
的部分加长了，沿路的banner也都挂上了，很是令人激动。

，主要是两点：
1.天气：感恩节很可能下雨，不下雨的天气就可能比较冷。去年是37/8度。
2.Course：爬坡比较多，而且除了开始的坡，主要集中在19迈以后。开始爬坡后路况也
不太好，全是Pothole，小心崴脚。

east side of fairbanks, 1 hr of driving, for the hot tub, there is a lot of
japaneses there. And if you don't mind driving on unpaved road, you can
drive through the dalton hwy to see the arctic circle or even the prudent
bay.
denali hwy is also worth seeing, even though the road condition isn't ideal,
not only it is unpaved, but there are also lots of potholes. 135mi, takes
about 9 hrs to drive. |

发帖数: 1240 | 45 Carnival的cruise terminal的门口就有租车的柜台，去的时候只剩下Toyota Yaris了
。价格$45，没有里程限制，还算公道。车况还行，不是新车，但也没那么旧。4个大人
再加一个小孩挺挤的。路况实在是太烂了，到处是pothole和土路。不过当地人开车都
很斯文，有礼貌，没美国这么rage。用Google map导航很不靠谱，经常就带到了unpave
的路上了，而且很多路不是在修就是没办法开，经常要原地掉头。路上很多持枪的警察
，在盘查车辆。看见我们这样的游客也从来没有刁难过，都是摆摆手放行。感觉这些警
察是当地政府特意派出去在游客集中的地方维持治安的。最后还车钱前路过一个大的加
油站，看见里面有两个拿shotgun的保安，比较放心，就开进去加油。full service的
，给美元直接换算，花了7刀加满。
Roatan的山路很多，在加上路况不好，如果想自驾到，建议大家提前预订SUV。要不然
我那个小yaris爬山路特别费劲，只能一档慢慢爬 |

vermont的bennington一带，看robert frost的墓、故居、林肯儿子的豪宅，正想再码
一篇。嗯，咱这里四季轮回，树林水塘多，总让我想起杭州九溪，喜欢树多的地方。以
前住香港可能和你现在的感觉差不多，虽然也有树有花，阳光大把，但没个变化。好处
是不感冒！

去年，我们也是趁十月中旬中文学校放假之际看红叶。当时想去Vermont——北部红叶
已落，便往南部的Green Mountain、Vermont的大本营去（法语ver mont本为green
mountain之意）。不仅看叶，Green Mountain的Bennington城里有Robert Frost的墓地
，10分钟车程之遥的Shaftsbury有他的故居；再开20分钟到Manchester又有林肯儿子、
军务部长、铁路大王Robert Lincoln的豪宅Hildene。去Vermont的途中还按PNH689的建
议走了麻省的Mohawk trail，拜访Shelburne Falls小镇的五彩花桥、瀑布穿石和
玻璃作坊。行程两天。当时来不及整理照片，拖到今年才贴出来答谢PNH689。因为照片
多，分几帖发。
