couple of times. but after making a mental note - everything is now 2nd
nature.

了。万幸双方都没事，但是这种t-bone的情况如果有人伤亡那么必然是你老婆车上的人
。实际上她在左转的时候对对方车道有非常好的视野，如果对方快速接近的话她可以通
过刹车或者加速闪避开的(当然了，civic这种刹车加速都不灵的车，还是有困难的，但
也不是不可能)。如果她只是单纯的觉得这不是她的责任而不作任何precaution的话，

like others have said, jack stands is the way to go.
find the jack points on your car first, there should be 2 jack points, one
in the front, other one in the back. use a floor jack to jack the car up
first, and put the jack stands on each side of the car to support its weight
.
as a precaution, you can also put a spare tire underneath the car, in case
something happens, you have something to support the weight of the car.

drives with extra precautions now. I was thankful that I traded in our 2003
CRV for a new safe car so she didn't get a scratch out of this. I cannot say
the same if she was driving the CRV that has no curtain air bags and weighs
1000 lbs less than Pilot. Pilot stayed in the lane after Altima's hit and
