For example, for 100 stock XYZ, the strike price is $48, premium is $0.05
if the stock price goes down to $45, how much can you earn?
The formula is quite easy.
Profit = number of shares * (strike price - premium price - current stock
price)
Therefore, the answer to the question above is
100 * (48-0.05-45) = $295

-07报的都是1040nr，claim了$5,000的treaty。
这次报08的税，直接上taxact file了1040，根本就忘了有treaty这码事了。今天突然
想起来，就来问问: 这个$5,000只给F1和non-profit H1b适用对吧？有人说还有个$2,
000，是什么？对俺适用么？？

应该说楼主算是美国的F1转H1,不能再要任何关于H1的treaty了.
同样,楼主2008年全年都是H1,也不能再要F1的5000的treaty了,
没听说过什么2000的事. |

的问题, H1-B 还没有FILE 上去.目前工作的NON PROFIT 的签证6月30日到期, 还没有
告诉它要离开,所以它要办理H1-B 的延期. 是否能同时办理H1-B 延期,另外由新的
EMPLOYER 办理新的H1B呢,然后只用新的H1-B 去上班? 这样一来在申请的过程中,是否
会因为由两个EMPLOYERS 同时给一个人FILE, 造成COMPLICATION?

我的情况是non-profit H1B DIY 加急. 对于non-profit的H1B，个人感觉自己做就好了
，没有抽签什么的压力。学校出的check, HR的人很好，还提醒我所用附加材料要用带
学校title的纸来打印。当时在网上虽然找到不少资料，但是还有一些不明白的。比如
，学校的年收入和净收入应该怎么填（按学校的税表填，学校只有budget, 我把这个当
学校收入，净收入我填的是n/a），应该交哪些费用等等。USCIS关于H1B的网页一定要
通读。不占名额的h1b是寄到不同地方的，不按州区分。我当是为了确认，打了他们的
客服，可是三个人告诉我的地址都不一样。我按照网页上要求的那个特殊地址寄的。我
办了加急，大概2～3个星期就拿到了。

因为我们这个h1b也不占65000个名额，随时申请都有.
可是我听人说，如果以后我要换工作，还得重新排队，重新申请h1b
打个比方，我如果6月想换工作，那么新的公司要帮我申请，不得等到10月才能拿到新
的H1B上班
那么就会变得很难换工作了吧以后
又比如，如果那一年的名额6月之前早早就用完了，那我是不是就只能等到下一年4月才
可以考虑换工作了
不知道，有没有哪位是从nonprofit 转到profit的，能给我说说看是怎么一回事吗？具
体操作是不是很麻烦？

h1b， 为新公司工作的同时，也继续为当前机构工作以便保持身份。
1. 这样的方案可行吗？ 被USCIS批准的可能性高吗？ 我打算将新的工作当成fulltime
，而当前的工作转成part-time。
2. 想再次确认下： 此情况下申请的concurrent h1b是否依然不受名额限制呢，即使新
的公司是cap-subject的情况下？
3. 这个concurrent h1b是由新公司还是当前的单位file，还是两者一起？
4. 递交了concurrent h1b申请之后，是否只要移民局收到申请 即可开始为新公司工作
，而不用等到被正式批准（因为已经是h1b的身份（non-profit））？

you can still look for a job with h1b. Keep in mind since your h1b is with
non-profit (not subject to cap), if you want switch to a for-profit job, it'
s going to be tricky -- that is, more likely (given the past a couple years
of data) your employer will need to submit your h1b petition by April 1st,
but you cannot start working till Oct 1st. Good luck finding an employer to

现在公司用的是外面的一个律师所办理H1b，律师说由于我的工作日期是12-30才开始，
所以他们只有在6-30-2017才能递交我的H1b申请。
于是我给律师回信：

My petition is listed in the category of CAP H1-B U.S. Master's Degree or
Higher.So, I think it is OK for me to switch to a for-profit company with
this H1B.
Some other posts also mentioned that even you work in a non-profit
organization, the H1B may still be in the CAP category.
