profit那F9连书都没看全就去考了，结果F8F9里还主要就考的F9的not-for-profit，呵
呵。上课就是上课没有CPA的针对性，那部分不过就是F8F9而已，自己看也能看的懂。

industry相对来说肯定是比non-profit的今后的工作机会更多一些，毕竟还是赚钱的企
业多过非盈利组织。在government工作的性质也不相同，比如你是government
至于薪水少些，low level也就1-2万的差别，爬到manager以上就很难说了，而且薪水
这东西地域性非常强。比如你在NYC拿6万一年，虽然人家adjust in standard cost of
living了，可你要是拿4万在中部地区日子过得可能比那NYC拿6万的松快多了。 |

这种staff position，他们不支持H1B transfer。一直认为transfer很简单，至少比申
请H1B要容易，而且都是non-profit机构的。我现在所在的医院有不少外国人做技术员
，没想到那边的工作那么难找。大家有没有在seattle实验室工作的，有没有什么信息
可以提供，哪些学校，医院或者研究所可以sponsor visa了？万分感谢。最近找工作的
非常frustrated，实在不行，准备申请读phD了。想想头就大呀 |

国内成立分支机构。
这个行业协会是美国的non-profit，主要的业务是会员会籍服务、举办讲座、出版物等
等。他们以前曾经有通过国内的一所大学作为名义上的“代表处”，工商部门也没有注
册过，所以中国的业务开展的不是很好，因此想和我们合作。
想咨询两个问题
1）美国法律规定下，non-profit 是否能投资或入股一个海外的盈利性公司？
2）中国的法律规定下，工商部门是否允许与国外的非盈利性组织成立合资公司？

即将毕业的统计小硕。最近收到本校的某研究中心的offer，在大农村。
催得挺紧，让周三前给答复。lz还是挺想去纽约之类的大城市闯荡一下的，
而且有几个电面还在等结果。所以有几个问题请教各位：
1、高校的H1B visa算non-prpfit的吗？听说再想转成profit H1B很难，lz不想一直待
在村里，所以即使要接这个offer也希望能有机会跳槽；
2、如果现在在offer letter上签字接受offer，之后如果其它公司有更好的offer来还
能违约吗？有什么不良记录吗？不太清楚美国违约和国内有何区别，也是要交违约金就
可以吗？
3、现在待在高校和企业到底哪个好一点？有工作两年继续读博的打算
麻烦有经验的指点一下

去。只能重新申请。而每年是四月申请，十月生效，哪个公司会等你半年？所以只能能

答案只有一个，就是除非H-1B已经占用名额，否则是不能转的。但是有一例外，那就是如
果还留在本来的工作单位，只是申请一个Part-time的H-1B，则是可行的。基本上这是法
律的一个漏洞。我们注意看法律的原文是“Any alien who ceases to be employed by
employer…214 (g)(6) 。重点在“ceases ” 这个字眼上。也就是说只要你没有脱离本
来的工作单位。假使找到一个Part-time工作是可以不受名额限止的，如果把本来的工作
变成Part-time，而转成一个full-time的 profit公司是否也可行。从理论上来说我们看
