school, it is good for 5 years. You can apply for USMLE tests as many as you
are allowed without going through the registration process again. Once you
start taking Step 1, you have a 7-year window to finish the other parts.
In your case, if I'am right, pay another 700+ bucks will be the only thing
you need to do to schedule another Step 1. |

Longwood area so I could literally walk to the test site. The site itself is
ok, it's a standardized Prometric test site. |

time though, since I was late for 12 min and had to talk my way into it.

Series 63
考试费：115刀
教材：用的是kaplan Series 63 manual 5th edition，这个我在网上没有找到免费下
载版，ebay上有人卖旧的版本，最后我是直接从kaplan网站上买的这个最新版本的教材
，20多刀。邮费很坑爹。
复习用时：2天半。本来打算用3天复习的，结果发呆了半天时间。。。这个manual 100
多页，我每个章节先粗略的看一遍书，然后做题，写总结。
最后以将近90%的分数轻松pass。
Series 65
考试费：155刀
教材：用的是kaplan Series 65 manual 8th edition，也是直接从kaplan网站上买的
这个最新版本的教材，70多刀。manual封面的男的超级帅~帅~帅~
复习用时：4天。因为考完series 63觉得这些考试也不难，我就比较大意了。这个
series 65因为manual有600多页，我就没有看书，也来不及看书，直接凭常识做题。做
完题我把错题的解释看了一遍就去考试了。
最后以70%多的分数勉强pass。真是擦了把汗。因为考试的时候自我感觉不... 阅读全帖 |

发帖数: 618 | 33 因为没有有资质的口译员而引起的医疗诉讼，其实本世纪以来很多，尤其Spanish那边
的上新闻的诉讼，可查的很多。这种事老中对当事同胞一面倒的骂，老墨对他们的同胞
却是一面倒的支持，责备医院没配备足够的口译员，再次体现华人一盘散沙的悲哀，在
此不详述。。
因为类似事件造成的高额赔偿，医院这些年来都加大了监管力度，尤其是大点的正规医
院。因为算下帐来，口译员的费用还是远低于打起官司要赔的钱。相应的医学院也有这
方面的教育。想提醒大家的是，家属没有资质做口译员，除了专业术语的理由，更重要
的理由是ethics conflict, 即家属因为跟病人的利益冲突有可能故意误译漏译，尤其
对老中的情况，子女做口译可能故意漏译老人有癌症之类。所以即使家属是美国行医的
医生，病人不懂英语的话理论上你还是要找口译员。。
我还学到了的是，即使你是CMG，看中国病人讲中文，打起官司来还是要输，除非你自
己通过了美国口译员资格认证。没有这个证，即使你在中国上的医学院，也没有法律依
据证明你能把医学英译中。这个认证其实很好弄，需要上40个小时的课，online上都可
