明天不去的话，就只有下周二一天啦。
不过好消息是今年（2011）开始有些业主不用开车跑去Angleton了，可以efile
protest，省了大半天时间和十刀汽油费。
我们收到的信上说是limited group of eligible residential homestead properties
的业主可以申请。
protest表上印了user ID和PIN，去efile.brazoriacad.org上注册激活帐号，然后就可
以填写protest表了。
随时可以登录自己的帐号去查处理的状态。
真的是方便多啦！

efile instruction，说从2011年开始有些人可以online protest。
userID和PIN都在那张通知正面上方右侧，在业主姓名下面。
如果没有，先把表格填了，附上一个简短的信说明你为什么要protest，希望protest到多少
钱。留份复印件，31日之前把protest的信寄出去，然后等消息。
如果有时间，就亲自去一趟。我听说通常前台工作人员手里掌握着8K的权限，你只要去
，他们多少都会给你降一些。如果要降低更多，就要等机会去后面负责人的办公室了。
SCR那边税高，能降8K的话，一年就能省$200-300的税。protest之后估价的基数降低了
，下一年涨的更少。过几年之后protest和不protest的房产税就有明显差别了。
不要相信那些广告，蛮多骗子，自己DIY很容易的。
我准备的材料就是我们小区跟我家同样大小的同类型房子近期在市场上出售的价格，我
挑了一个比我家房价低的作为证据。

anglican和roman catholic的教义肯定是不一样的,虽然都用圣经,但是不同的领导者(
罗马教廷的教皇 vs坎特伯雷大主教)可以对圣经有不同的解释.所以英格兰会和roman
catholic的爱尔兰有宗教冲突.
anglican的推广是打击了教会的势力,
教会和教士的土地,财产,影响力相比欧洲大陆的西班牙和法国,都减少了,而英国的重商
主义达到全世界的领先地位.
anglican和protestant也是两码事.
亨利八世之后, protestant主要是在欧洲大陆的德意志地区,尼德兰地区以reform的形
式展开,在马丁路德等的领导下发展起来. 到了伊丽莎白一世时期,英国因为奉行
anglican,还处决了若干protestant.所以才会有英国protestant跑路到北美.
但是anglican和protestant在打击罗马教廷势力方面的作用是类似的,都是削弱教会对
社会资源的控制,比如anglican的教区可以有counsil,可以自己投票选举教区领导人,似
乎是西方现代民主制度的一个发源.

今年比较尴尬的是，不知道明年要不要搬家，得等到暑假才知道。
有两个处理办法：
1）考虑到要搬家的可能性，今年就不protest了。
看网上说卖房子的时候，market value高才好卖？
如果protest下来，价格低了反而不好卖了？
2）还是protest一下，我们家地基有点问题，这个可以作为protest的理由吗？
以前写了好几条，什么水管破，大树根裂房子啥的，人家没搭理，一分钱也没protest
下来。
后来又找专门的protest公司做的appeal，也没用啊。

我们10年差不多楼市最低时抄底买的房子，11年房产税估价加了一万多，我们没时间去
protest，结果12年就变本加厉给我们涨上去了。
去protest之前我们找自己的买房代理姐姐做了一份上年度本小区市场可比价格分析，
找了几个面积跟我家差不多但是售价低的房子作为证据。
另外就是要指出那些卖的贵的房子都是做了N多升级，比如新地板啦、挖了游泳池啦、
厨房remodel啦…。
Online protest失败后约了时间去县政府听证，那天我家宝宝才出生20天，但是我家领
导说还是全家一起去给他壮胆比较好，所以宝宝就在汽车座椅篮子里来了个长途旅行。
开车四十多分钟到了县政府，我们家宝宝吃了奶换了尿布就正好轮到我们听证。进门之
后看我家领导拎着婴儿篮子，对方就先跟我们聊了几句宝宝，听说她只有三周大还夸她
很乖。
我们递上打印好的材料，在对方翻看的时候，我指着宝宝说我们家除了这孩子没有其他
upgrade(其实是铺了地板的…），对面的女士立刻就忍不住笑了。她放下材料在电脑上
敲敲，跟我们说可以降8000，如果还不满意就要去楼上找负责人了。我们赶忙说接受这

cellphone reception in San Francisco train stations for three hours to
disrupt planned demonstrations over a police shooting.
Officials with the Bay Area Rapid Transit system, better known as BART, said
