万里来到我校和学生们团聚。
2013年春，针对学生目前英语口语欠缺这一现状，我校在海外中国教育基金会的牵线搭
桥下，和远在美国的高雷老师和Lily老师结缘。她们利用远程网络课堂，义务为我们学
校学生进行英语口语教学，她们流利的口语、丰富的肢体语言，一下子就吸引了参与远
程学习的的每一位师生。每堂课精彩不断，得到了全校师生的一致好评！通过一年多的
共同学习和交流，这两位老师决定回国，和即将毕业的九年级同学团聚一次，也和在校
正在参与远程口语学习的七八年级学生来一次零距离接触，化虚拟的网络联系为真正的

安省省级警察Darin Kirker中士称，“我们已经接到该区150起小事故报案，但可能还有大量没有报案的事故。”
Kirker称，必须在该区路上行驶的司机务必提高警惕，时刻注意结冰的路面。
多伦多地区的警方称，多伦多地区路面较为安全，安省东部结冰的路面大约是从Belleville开始的。

周六，加拿大航空公司(Air Canada)一架飞往夏威夷Maui岛的班机途中撞上飞鸟，被迫返回。

多市审计总长的报告指出，每年有100,000名以上违规停车者在执法者面交罚单或夹在雨刷下之前，就开车逃逸。由于多市没有邮寄罚单的法律依据，违规者便不必付钱。
要弥补上述漏洞，有待修改《省犯罪法(Provincial Offences Act)》，但省府一再拒绝，多市因此在2008年损失480万元，2007年也损失450万元。

周三，OPP总长范天奴(Julian Fantino)称，目前2名受害者的身份已经被确认。其中一名儿童还在安省，而另一名已经不在加拿大。
“每张色情图片都代表了一名受害者儿童，而图片的每次被交易或传播都意味着儿童再次受伤害。我们会坚决查处那些儿童奴役者，保护我们社区的安全”，Fantino称。
在此调查行动中，警方共下发44张通缉令，最后35名嫌疑人被捕(指控罪名达122项)，他们来自萨德伯里(Sudbury)，渥太华(Ottawa)，伦敦(London)，Collingwood和多伦多。

连生3名女儿的印裔妇人在大温地区素里家中遭人杀害一案宣告侦破! 死者丈夫、女地产经纪及怀疑杀手等3人被控一级谋杀。

一、商品服务税补助（GST/HST Credit）
商品服务税（GST）补助所针对的乃是中低收入的家庭，主要在补偿这种家庭在购买商品或服务时所支付之消费税。申请GST补助是以家庭为单位，夫妻必须先协调好，由夫或妻任何一方提出，但不可两方同时申请。申请时只需要在税表上相关问题答「是」即可。
以2010年7月至2011年6月的补助额为例，是以2009年之家庭所得为基准，若家庭所得未超过3万2506元，可得全额补助，大人每人250元，小孩每人131元；若家庭所得超过3万2506元，将扣减超过之部分的5%。举例来说，张家夫妻二人加上一个孩子原本应可领取631元（250×2+131），但因夫妻俩所得3万5506元超过当年度基准3000元（35506－32506），补助额将扣掉150元（3000×5%），即631元要减去150元，所以张家当年度可领取的GST补助是481元，每一季可领取120.25元。GST补助一年分四次发给，分别在7月... 阅读全帖 |

安省阿冈昆省立公园(Algonquin Provincial Park)附近14日下午发生重大夺命车祸，一辆SUV与一客货车迎面相撞後造成三人死亡、九人受伤。警方称，死者为SUV的司机及车上的两名乘客，从英文姓名来看，三人应为华人。
安省警方说，事发时这辆SUV不知何故而失去控制，越过中线後与正沿Highway 60公路行驶的客货车车头相撞。SUV的司机及车上两名女乘客当场死亡，另外还有九人受伤。

《华尔街日报》中文版总编袁莉在网上问：“土豪英文怎么翻译？”引出无数网友的尝试，如newly rich, upstart, provincial tycoon，rural rich，vulgar tycoon，等。南大英文系教授但汉松借用一美国情景戏剧的名字，将其称作“Beverly Hillbillies”，颇为传神，将好莱坞富豪云集的比华利山庄（Beverly Hills）和土包子（Hillbillies）合而为一。只是加州比华利似乎离我们远了一些，容易造成认知上的混淆，所以影评人周黎明先生说，不如本地化一下，改作Beijing Hillbillies吧（北京土包子）。只是这么一来，北京之外的土豪们心里又不平衡了。混了半天，一翻译过来，自己怎么连土豪都不是？

but in some other times, OVERESTIMATE.
The theory is that provincial officials try hard to please Beijing.
In recession, they inflate.
In good times, Beijing says stop, worried about inflation. So they under-
report.
Nothing is reliable in China.
