第三学期,这学期的考试就俩字,变态,三个rotation,Gero,med-surg,Psych,每
个rotation一次quiz一次考试
每次quiz10分,基本是全军覆没,考试前第四学期的人就安慰我们,考不过别难过,大
家都过不了。不过还是有人考的不错的,这个fail的同学就是考的不错的之一,大家
quiz都考4、5分时,她考8点几分
这个同学是个日本人,班上就我俩是外国人,她特用功,家里有俩三岁的双胞胎,扔给
family care,她从不回家做晚饭,我俩经常在图书馆一起看书,6点多我要回家了,她
都说还要再看会儿,她儿子有次病得很严重,突然seizure,在ER待了一整天,她第二
天有clinical,就把儿子扔到老公,自己去医院了。再过两天,儿子回家了,她要上课
,儿子背着药去了family care。我们这个program一学期只能缺12小时... 阅读全帖

正是,这几天电视,广播,和各网坛也在热烈讨论这个对psych 病人管理的大病垢。有
华人提出,象中国那样小区内要有居委会,大妈大叔轮流管住一个区,看看有无不正常
的人出没,起码每个学校门口有警卫站岗放哨监控进出人员的,大学门口也需要。象
UCSD连个大门都没有,人人都可以一头闯进教室。

The more effort you gave on the wrong track, the more damage you did to the
TEAM.
It is easy to give 120% effort if you take all the shots, I will be psyched
up if I took all the shots either on basketball court or pitch.
If Kobe cannot get the ball and was assigned to grab the rebounds and defend
Westbrook just like other blue collar players, I bet Kobe will do things
more extreme than just playing passively.

it. (their agreement of 3C was 2nd suit)
I did call the director after opener made another move after the slow 4NT. But
the opponents probably know that they'll lose the appeal so they did not admit
that there was a break in temp with 4NT. Since we cannot establish that fact,
the director ruled in their favor.

Sx HQxxxx Dxxxxx CKx, I would at least raise 2H to 3H with this hand.
4H is possible when partner holds something like:
SAxxxx HAxxxx Dx CAx
South should double 2H to disclose the psych.
Also, it really makes no diffence what Alan Truscott said about R and S
's bridge. There were just many persons witnessed that R and S cheated.
Also, R and S are not strong enough comparing with Italian guys at that time.

you can say whatever you like. The basic idea of psychic bids is that
it would backfire in some situations. Ok, that's all I want to say about
S's psyche.
When a player knows about his partner's length in H, he can make safe
psychic bids in H. Also, in the law suite, both R and S had to admit that they
used finger signals, but their lawyer "proved" that they didn't take any
advantage from the finger signal, what a big joke!

the stamped ring is not as durable, is more flexible under strong pedal
force, and doesn't shift as well as more precisely made and stiffer rings,
especially under load. I use 105 rings on my motobecane (with an ultegra
crank) though because I love the 50/39 rings (for cheap too). I think the
difference is more psych than practical. I just don't like them because they
are not high quality.

Oh, when I say "free climb", I mean NO PROTECTION AND NO TECHNICAL AIDS.
My definition is different from yours.
I had done some "free climb" when I was younger. With cliffs in the range of
50' to 200' tall. "Death" is not a term in my dictionary at that time.
To be honest, I will be very hesitate to "free climb" any wall more than ~50
' high now. I don't have the psyche to do anything taller than that.

Rock climbing is a good outlet to take risk and test your personal limits

So so sorry to hear this, god it is terrible...I met him a few years ago. He
was an incredible guy. What a loss!
It has been a tragic year for climbers/mountaineers. First the loss of
Johnny Copp and Micah Dash (cannot remember the 3rd guys name), then Bachar
(I was psyched about his slide show in PDX which he didn't live to make
happen), now Lubben.
It is terrible.
He and the late Charlie Fowler discovered some fine climbing in the Four
Girls in China.
