俺还是学生，今年年内Ph.D毕业，做纳米器件的，想尽快找到工作
Intel当然是首选了，投了不少简历，还在焦头烂额中
已经是第二次Intel的打电话（第一次是Portland TD,这次是Santa Clara Mask）过来
，说你的背景还行，那聊聊你的身份吧，结果一说还是中国人就悲剧了
请问各位前辈，Intel哪些fab(D1D, D1C, F11, PTD, New Mexico, Phoenix )可以招
OPT的中国人(Process Engineer, Process Integration, Metrology, Materials)啊？
这样被调戏也很是郁闷啊～

如果哪位知道有空缺能帮忙推荐下更是感激不尽～

那是不是Intel R&D 为主的部门PTD, D1D就对身份很严格？
但是在Foundry的话，可以直接招OPT中国人？

要低于别的County, 但其中的原因我并不清楚. 原来Forsyth County 只有一个City:
Cumming City. 你想知道Fulton County 有多少个City吗? 我的天啊! 14 Cities (
Alpharetta City, Atlanta City, Chattahoochee Hill Country City, College
Park City, East Point City, Fairburn City, Hapeville City, Johns Creek City,
Milton City, Mountain Park City, Palmetto City, Roswell City, Sandy Springs
City, Union City).

侧, 同一个建筑商D.R. Horton 正在开发的两块地Wyndham Park (School: Lambert
High )and Johns Creek Station (School: Northview High)买新房. 注意, 该建筑商
的Listing Agent 要求 Buyers 必须有 Buyer Agent 一起才给签合同. 感谢我太太的
“铁杆” 盟友, 他们愿意把这样的机会给我做.
我上一篇文章中刚刚介绍了Forsyth County, GA. 昨天的买房景象就好像是印证了我的
推断, $40 万的大房子, 两个Listing Agents的Office门庭若市, 车水马龙, 周末来看
Lot, 看新房, 签合同的人排队啊! 还有Lambert high school 附近的Nichols View 也
是人气如潮, 简直就像国内一线城市新屋开盘的翻版, South Forsyth County 到处是
新开工的机器隆隆声, 真是火爆了.

online to ba gua, hehe......
The point is: just be careful with what you get yourself into....more than
80 hours per week is more than a normal person can handle in a long term....
.D1D/D1C/PTD are all like that.Other groups might be better, it is worth the
time to discuss with the folks internally to get insight.
For the people who have been used to that, they are not aware of what they

minimum requirement. For D1D, it is even more, PhD in D1D/PTD was used to do
tool install level 1 sign off and level 2 sign off, which is technician
level job, but as soon as people get in Intel fab, choice will not be yours. |

of group leader are either master or bachelor degree, in D1D or PTD, might
be more PhD as group leader, You will make future your life misarable by
asking a non-PHD group leader a PHD level questions. :-) |

in PTD or D1D? it is unlikely since it is not open to H-1 Chinese citizens,
is it in D1C? if that is the case, it will be the same as other process
engineering positions. |

站上Intel的员工虽多.真正在Fab里冲杀打滚没几个
PTD/D1D/D1C这些都是Intel的精锐部队.Intel靠着这些人维持制程工艺上的优势
是Intel真正的命脉
在里面压力之大,领导之凶狠,新人生存环境之险恶,没亲身体验的人无法了解
听别人说跟自己经历过是两回事
在Fab里挣扎过的人对公司产生负面观感,我很能体会
但是这一行就是这样,在新制程真正可以上线之前,钱是以每天数百万美金在烧
公司只能无所不用其极的鞭策这些Fab engineer
最好他们每天都不睡觉,假日也工作
许多公司的value,guideline..实际上同空谈
这也是许多离职员工对Intel culture有强烈反感的原因 |

Intel 尤其是Oregon fab （D1C/D1D/PTD), 只雇用新毕业的RCG （毕业后两年以内）.
对于两年以外的简历经理们连看都不看。
希望你有幸能成为一个特例。 |

，理科工程类的都有面试。你们的简历上的key term一定要写好，因为简历大多是通过
key term search 从数据库里调出来的，除非你有内推。 |

发帖数: 3 | 46 Wooster说得很对，你可以在glassdoor上面看看相同/相似Intel职位的面经，另外还有
Mitbbs上面的经验交流。我的建议是一定要对自己简历上面的东西很熟悉，任何相关的
东西起码要知道基本原理；然后就是Behavior Question，那个可以在网上搜相关的几
大类问题，基本上就是要体现自己是有好的Problem solving的Team-player，回想以前
的经历用实实在在的例子回答。最后希望有在相关site的高人指点看他们这次想要招哪
方面的人（CVD/Etching/Sputtering?）突出自己的相关技能是最好的。

经问了很多behavior question了，不知道onsite时候是不是还会问差不多同样的问题
。我去面的是CMP和wafer regeneration两个group，其实我没有多少相关方面的经验，
非常希望能够得到相关的高人指点！ |
