因为一个出租condo漏水，原因是浴室墙内水管漏了
被statefarm定义为continuous or repeated seepage or leakage
所以拒付，这叮叮咣咣加上赔楼下+mold+赶租客+重新施工，快20K出去了，割肉一样
晚上偶尔google到public adjuster，

一页就行了。有phd的，写3页也很正常。我的给压缩到了3页，我同学的都是4页或者5页
。我基本上每个section都保留了（publication, awards, paper review），但是都只
是部分，比如说"selected publication, selected awards"，只放最重要的。做过con
ference和journal的reviewer我觉得是个很好的经历，如果能放下我也是尽量放下。如
果放conference和journal的缩写也占不了多少space。还有记得放自己的homepage url
。比如说在publication末尾加个"please check http://***.*** for complete list"
。这样别人如果要看details自会去你主页。千万记得做个详细整齐点的website就是了
。
objective我从来不放，因为我自己都不知道我会end up什么position，纯粹浪费空间。

的简历一页，其中 的work experience 一栏是 bullet point 接项目名称，然后下面
再放一到两行的 responsibility，resume 最后放了publication，没有course work。
目前 电面了大概十个position。
现在改resume，疑惑如下，忘大牛赐教。
1. 不知有没有必要贴出课题名称，单独一行感觉占了不少空间并且贡献好像不大，是
不是应该直接放上 responsibility statement 就可以了呢？ 尤其是自己的的课题有
些方向并不一样，这样对比也蛮突兀的。并且如果research 和 position不大相关的话
，别人一看项目名称就知道了，如果用responsibility statement的话还可以尽量往
那边靠。
2. 为了增加和job description 的相关性，在graduate research assistant一栏下面

发帖数: 562 | 24 在这里问大家一个问题：我们刚刚close的房子，在湾区。从始至终一直以为lot的大小
是6088 sqft，Redfin，Zillow，卖家的list和appraisal列的lot size都是6088 sqft
。可是close完之后，我们查到有的网站上这个房子在county的public record里面，
lot size是5663 sqft，少了425 sqft！agent帮我们查了下，说county public record
确实是5663 sqft。可是很奇怪的是管交税的office of county assessor网站上有
assessor's parcel map，在这个地图上这个房子lot的长宽面积和开始卖家list的是一
样的，面积是6088 sqft。我们有点糊涂了：
county的这个public record到底是以哪个为准？
需不需要找land survey来测量lot size？如果最后量出来的lot size比6088 sqft小很
多，可以回头去找seller吗？毕竟我们买房子一直是以为买的是6088 sqft多的lot啊。

.初步想法是每周一次，一次一个孩子主讲。演讲前，共同学习一下好的talk video.
小孩轮流上台。因为主要是鼓励孩子公众演讲，初期也可以选孩子自己选comfortable

actually not easy to have one published - You generally need to address some
issue (s) in the original paper. I am debating where I claim this: It is a
special kind of publication based on your critical assessment of some

Review, and Contributions. 承认了publication and review. Contribution 部
分也没有明确说has not been met， 但是要求提供一些材料. 具体的如下：
(1) 我当时提交了7封推荐信来自5个国家， 其中独立推荐信有5封， IO特意把其中
三封独立推荐信中的一些段落挑了出来，让我提供更加具体的证据：

我们当时生宝宝的时候还是低收入的学生身份，用了州政府的medicaid还有WIC，做了
一些research,有人说应该选择 No, 因为这两个不算是public assistance， 可是还有
很多人说应该选择yes，然后再用单独的statement页来说明，不然如果选择no的话被查
出来会导致麻烦，属于lying。可是就我来看这个问题是两部分的，一个是曾经是否用
过，一个是以后是否有可能，如果回答yes给第一部分，并不表示第二部分也是yes。所

老婆在怀二胎的时候开始WIC，生产的时候，MEDICAID COVER了生产当天的费用，此后
继续领取WIC．
我看了USCIS网站上面有关PUBLIC CHARGE的介绍，WIC 和 紧急医疗援助，均不属于
PUBLIC CHARGE的范围．
但在填写485表格的时候，我应该写YES 还是写NO 呢？

实的嫌疑。如果面试你会怎么回答，回答no，但是USCIS又查到了你们的名字在一项
public assistance，听说介个回答不一致会导致直接reject。
如果回答485选项和回答是yes，485选项说明说得很清楚，回答yes不一定招致reject。
还是回答yes，然后出具证明你的any public assistance是WIC，它不算是USCIS认为的
cash assistance，对你的485申请没有影响。 |
