唧地一边愣着。
要凑版庆的热闹，可是说点什么好呢。书读得不多，抖了半天书袋也不见半页纸，那就
说说applechip同学，《Puff，the Maggic Dragon》和《Meet the parents》吧。
applechip同学在《阳光季节》里提到了“Puff, the Magic Dragon”这首歌。
这是首六十年代的老歌，就像applechip说的，唱的是一只不会变老的龙（Puff）跟他
的小伙伴Jackie Paper的故事。故事说Jackie Paper小时候整天爱跟Puff玩，但Jackie
长大后便对虚构的探险不再感兴趣、也不再理会Puff。Puff于是生活在孤独和沮丧之中。
字面上，这是个有点忧伤的童话故事。至少我是这么以为的，直到2000年看了《Meet
the Parents》。电影里，有这样一个片段：
这部电影本身很轻松，没什么不好懂。可是，在这个片段里，Focker和未来的老丈人一
起听这首歌的时候，提到了大麻，就让人有点费解了。

家里的三只猫由室友照看，问题不大。
今晚去petsmart干了临行前最后的一次活，顺便权当和Puff告别了。
最近Puff的情况很不好。之前的几个月虽然还是一直在拉肚子，不过没有拉血，胃口不错，体重也比较稳定。大约一个月前，我们shelter的director觉得Puff这样没有进展，于是把他送到vet那边住了两个星期，说让vet想办法给 调养一下。结果从vet那边回来以后，Puff不但没有任何好转，反而开始更严重地拉肚子，而且bb里总是带着血，又瘦下去不少。我因为忙其他事情有两个星期没有见到Puff了，上个周末去了一下简直不敢相信他又几乎退回了去年年底的惨状－－带血的bb滴得到处都是，身体后半部脏得就像是从泥水里滚过的。由于始终处于排泄状态，肛门附近都肿了起来，突出在外。。因为Puff时不时会滴出几滴，容易把cage里面的垫子弄脏，后来有的volunteer在打扫以后就干脆不给他的cage放垫子了。可是Puff是喜欢垫子的，尤其是现在瘦到几乎只剩骨头的份上了。。上个周末有人给大家发信建议还是给Puff用垫子比 |

Puff的病症是持续性的腹泻，还老拉在地上。到了08年的年底，突然暴瘦，于是开始了漫漫的治疗过程，以下都是shelter成员之间的e-mail摘抄：

crust是用来做各种pie或者tart的饼底的。比如你做cheesecake懒得把饼干捣碎的话，
你就直接买pie crust做就可以了，只不过比较厚。美国这边的pie底都厚得跟个大盆子
似的，像是广式蛋挞的厚底，如果你要做葡式蛋挞的塔底也是要用puff pastry。不过
我曾经试过用filo代替，也不错，filo不太好整形，而puff pastry柔软一些，好整形

1。如果用不完，剩下的puff pastry能放回冰室么？
2。我想做最简单的，比如蝴蝶酥。是不是切长条盘成蝴蝶的形状，撒上糖就行了？我
没有砂糖，用别的糖能代替么？
3。还想做杏仁酥，就是一个方块上面撒杏仁片。但是...没有杏仁片，只有pecan ,
walnut,能弄碎了代替么？要不要先烤果仁？还是生的就行？要不要撒糖？
4。想做些小碗，怎么做？还没打开包装，不知道puff pastry厚不厚？能不能用muffin
pan 造型？
5。我烤些长方块，以后谗的时候，夹上奶油是不是就是拿破仑？
还有别的简单的方子么？我只烤过三次东西，一次cupcake,一次cookie,一次蛋黄饼干

没有给宝宝怎么吃米糊，都是吃点puffs，然后再给点水果，从昨天开始加了yogurt,这
样算是正经吃辅食了吗?我家宝宝辅食吃的不多，。puffs的话就是20来个，水果、酸奶
的话每次可能就1oz多点，现在还是主要靠吃奶。

一次，就包严实放冰箱冷却至少一小时。这样，加上原
来一个循环，实际上进行了三个单-双循环。
最后把面取出，擀开做一个单折叠，puff dough就制作好了。
下面开始讲一个比较简单的puff点心：豆沙三角。 |

原料：
Puff dough,
豆沙馅一包，
鸡蛋一个和牛奶一调羹，打成蛋液
把做好的puff dough擀开，切一片宽5cm的长条下来，然后擀薄
到大约8cm宽，4mm厚;
切正方形小片，在小片上涂蛋液，然后在正方形片的中心放大约
一茶匙的豆沙馅，把面片对折成三角形包好。
在豆沙三角上刷一层蛋液
oven预热到375F(如果是convection oven,350F即可)，烤20分钟，
取出后撒一点confectionary sugar做装饰即可。
建议搭配：Espresso/Cappucino/Latte |

这白粉之puff属于误打误撞吧，peter, paul & mary的歌都很人道主义，和那个年代的
很多民谣歌手一样毕生致力于反战、和平。mary晚年住在康州，前几年去世。peter
yarrow好像在加州，前两年出童谣集，其中一本就叫puff the magic dragon。他到我
们这里来演唱售书，我去听了，抄一段当时写的和贴的照片：
