我这个学期就吸取教训了。以前，期末考占30%的总成绩。期末考又在学生填写course
evaluation之前。因为他们对期末成绩有很大的不确定，他们大概在填写course
evaluation时给我点颜色看看。现在，我把两次大的考试拆成10个quizzes.每个quiz只
覆盖一章。让他们每次只用复习一章。最后的期末考只占10%的总成绩。这样，他们大
概不会用course evaluation来给我颜色了吧？ |

尽管学生们觉得每一个quiz的测试覆盖面很明确，但是学生们还是希望能够知道我到底
会考什么题。学生们说他们会对quiz更满意，如果他们能够事先知道题目是什么。尽管
我对这种要求很无语，但我现在的主要考量是能让学生满意。他们希望我做什么，我就

就是一条：Quiz on the go。每节课都有quiz，不考之前的，就是本节课的东西。有的
是填空题，极度弱智的，但是他就必须从头到尾紧跟着看我PPT写了什么。有的是计算
题，相当于随堂练习。最后考试必考这些题，换下花样而已。
其结果是：
1，原先玩手机上网的那些，都自动收敛了。
2，旷课的减少到最低。因为全部quizzes占总成绩25%。基本堂堂爆满。
3，学生反映很喜欢这种形式，他们终于能follow我了，每节课讲了什么居然都知道了
。最后也不会积累一大堆，随学随会。
4，因为quiz简单，又占总成绩四分之一，只要不旷课，就心里踏实了。 |

原因是读书可以part time, 可要是工作就只能Full time。
现在又有些紧张，感觉这边读书很麻烦，像Quizzes,Project的什么的，也不容易呀。

嫌协助隐瞒法拉利车祸真相接受调查。据称，今年3月18日深夜令计划的儿子车祸中两
遇害女子的家属，曾获赠过数千万现金，调查发现，该笔巨款来自中石油。
报道称巨款的转移支出没有正常的财务手续和收据。南华早报引用不具姓名的来源
报道，蒋洁敏帮助令计划付款给受害者家属，以避免车祸消息外传。

spelling bee的文章。According to the San Francisco Chronicle, not only is
he a top spelling champ, but he plays piano concertos, has a first-black
belt in Tae Kwon Do, and is a math champion as well.
这孩子当然是天才，但是感慨一下，做妈的有几个能做到这样的？Weeks before the
Scripps National Spelling Bee, Evan O'Dorney's mom coached and quizzed him
for up to two hours each day...

小老板出国开会去了，大老板突然一拍脑袋要做一个课题，几个部分一下突然忙得不可
开交，因为临时决定，偶们实验室好几个试剂盒都木有了，让秘书去定居然back order
，下午急急忙忙把list弄好，去上课，心里一直惦记着偶有没有忘了点啥东西啊，快到
学校，开错路了，又上了高速，结果迟到10分钟。。。。。。。。。。。。
刚上了一会，用电脑做了两个T TEST，教授说车在修车店，要去取车，下课了，NM，偶
开了一个小时来上课，你就讲了半个小时不到，浪费偶时间啊。。。。。。。。。。。
。。
然后一看时间，不到7点，手痒了，要不去打会球吧，其实医生让偶这两天不要剧烈运
动，不过偶想想随便练练球总可以吧！开去球馆，和七雪打了会新球，觉得还好，就是
球重了，球速变慢了点，然后有人等桌子，只好打比赛了，因为球速慢了，偶的快攻完
全木有优势了，很快0：3输了，然后又和另外一个人用旧球打，刚打了几个球，还木又
适应回来就又被催着比赛，用回新球就真的觉得快不少了，开始一局好几个发球连拍子
都木有够上，很快输完两局，第三、四局渐渐适应，扳回来了，第五局心里紧... 阅读全帖 |
