sentence. the QUOTE function merely add one at begining and one at the very
end.
so for this task, I would like to use Regex. it is one liner solution. but
certainly, you can loop through and add the quotation mark for each word
delimited by space.

requires you to surround the single quotation mark around the date string so
that it will be understood by Oracle.
But what if you want to pass a SAS macro variable via SAS/ACCESS pass-
through facility. then you need to first mask the single quotes to allow the
macro variable resolution. I don't have oracle connection now. you may need
to use To_date oracle function. i can not test it.

correct me if i am wrong. I don't think you need macro quoting here.
plus, you used double quotations as the argument for %bquote. the argument
will be resolved at the compile time, though you used a execution time
quoting function.
the resolved &&M&I will stay within the quotation marks.it will not cause
any problem at all. I can not see why you need to mask special characters.
the error message has nothing to do with the sql pass through as your select

正式的论文上必须引用，而且对什么是citation，什么是quotation
都有严格的定义和标志。
在一般的科普文章上，包括很多科技杂志（magzine）里面都是
没有list of citations的，这种文章一般不标志引用，除非是
整段完全原话。因为要把citation的全部内容（文章标题，作者，
出版物/社，年代，刊号等等）都在引用处给出来实在是太拖沓，
也太占篇幅。你就给个（zhao，1998）没有index等于啥都没说。
我的看法，方舟子这种，不算什么大事。 |

，所以也不存在什么“标准不统一”的问题；还有人以周森锋做例子，但周的文章里面
抄别人的东西根本没有指出出处，属于赤裸裸的“抄袭”。

Today (Dec. 18, 2010), there are, however, two reports in Financial Times (
FT). Unlike the Asahi report, these two do not cite non-public information (
such as ""Chinese military sources"). The Two FT report do identify which,
where and when the publication was.

本完全（本节共8页，四小段除外）来自Blum一书，惊讶得说不出话了。那就什么都不
说了。黑色字体为朱原文，红色字体为本人考证内容。本节朱文共使用了9个脚注，也
很巧合，这9个脚注在Blum一书中均出现，引用的内容与 Blum一书也完全相同，而且，
本节的脚注只有一个提到了Blum。而从考证的内容看，其实本节都是来源于Blum。因此
，抄袭成立。
