faith in US dollar. It's not easy for him to find a place to park his
money. Railroad at least is something real and not replacable. And it's
cleaner and cheaper than highway transportation. If other real estate can

take along, the trains are metal. Master track trains are the biggest,

12／23中午出发，从新墨西哥州飞到LA, 当晚住下。旅馆离Disneyland走路10分钟。
12／24逛Disneyland, 只去了主题公园，从8点到晚上10点，看完焰火才撤。
12／25 坐Amtrak 火车从LA 到 SD, 下午去了Mission beach。
12／26 一大早取了车，Balboa Park逛各种博物馆，黄昏去Coronado Island看日落，
海滩玩沙，捡些贝壳，晚上去Dumpling Inn吃饺子，Ranch 99买水果各种吃的（一大袋
黄金猕猴桃，我们新墨西哥州买不到）。
12／27 开始用3天Go San Deigo Card $180, Seaworld，一整天，看了Shamu Dolphin
Sea lion各种表演，淋了个透。
12／28 Legoland一整天。
12/29 Zoo and Safari Park，上午去了Zoo， 看了熊猫，下午去Safari Park，5点返
回Zoo看表演。这天比较赶。

刚刚看到劳工部副部长（？deputy secretary) Chris Lu 在MSNBC上谈华裔工人在修建
跨国铁路145年以后终于得到认可，真是百感交集。高兴的是这12，000多苦力（1000多
丧生）的贡献总算被提到美国公众面前；感叹的是，这是多么久，多么难的145年！要
问的是，我们怎样先了解然后书写自己的历史？

The MTA has been directed by Governor Andrew M. Cuomo to begin an orderly
shutdown and suspension of all subway, bus and commuter railroad service at
7 p.m. Sunday. The decision was made to protect customers, employees and
