The snow wall is taller than 6 feet around the drive. But it's certainly a
huge plus to the breathtaking view.
No snow chain is necessary, in a clear and warm day on 62.
But on a rainy day here (snowy day at Crater Lake), visibility will be close
to 0 according to their website. |

如果大家有教孩子学中文的经验，我特别想搬板凳过来听。现在唯一担心的就是孩子把上个学年学的几个马力平的中文字丢掉爪哇国去了。
另外，刚刚看到这篇文章觉得挺有趣的。不知道大家有没有同感。

本来以为不算孩子的话，二十来人，最后用掉了五十多张标签。新人老人，小小人，没
有人山人海，也算济济一堂了。
好几道菜，Z妹妹的菠萝饭，椰汁西米露，Lin妹妹的牛肉卷饼，KJ的南瓜饼，Ning妹妹
的海带，rainy妹妹的馅饼一开盖就没了。
谢谢各位带了肉，肠，虾，肉排的，雨点爸的煤和工具总算没有白买。哈哈
终于见到了慕名已久的人山姐姐和她的signature 相机。能聚一起不容易，全靠姐姐"
咔嚓，咔嚓＂的纪录了。
见到了可爱的小雨点，见到了好多宝宝，宝宝们可有了点脸熟？
可惜第一次组织，没有经验，没占到桌子多的地方，也没有让每个人介绍一下自己，好
几位兴致勃勃来找玩伴的，没玩起来。下次再办之前，还得再学学。

继不久前母亲节之际圣迭戈未名空间、宝宝爸妈组、同乡聚餐组、吃喝小分队等数网网
友在圣迭戈未名空间现任版主，网名（ID）叫熙来攘往（Enjoylifexu）的网友召集的
御园『送战友』网聚围拢的友情还在熙来攘往地延续，转瞬到了昨天父亲节和端午节之
际，圣迭戈未名空间的现任板副，ID:人在天涯(MirrorJJ），或大家喜欢叫镜子妹妹的
网友又发起组织了一场网聚，六月十六日在UTC多伊尔公园（Doyle Park）成功举办。
网聚从下午3点开始，参加的网友近六十人，网聚活动进行了将近四个小时但仍意犹未
尽，每人带的三人或足够十人以上份量的食品和饮料，充分满足了芸芸众多网友，男女
老少，南胃北口。

From edmunds forum, someone in north VA got $31,252 ($30,472+780 destination
) + $385 dealer fee + TTT.
I was told by autowest honda that they can do 31 to 32k (not serious quote
though). Another dealership (forgot the name) will do $32,688 (price+
destination) + TTT and other fees during president day sale. |

加州各地学区正准备寄出教师裁员信（pink slips），教育官员和教师工会说，今年的
情况比过去两年还要差，未来两周将有破纪录的教师接到裁员信。
州政府拨出的下年度学校经费，还未确定，有待6月的特别选举后，才知道加税计划是
否可以过关，如果加税遭到否决，加州公校将会失去20亿元经费，被裁教师将大增。
州法规定，学区估计秋季学期须裁减教师的数目，并且于3月15日前将裁员信寄给教师
，学区在还不知道下年度拨款的情况下，不得不作最坏预测，因此未来两周全州将有超
过三万名教师接到裁员信，去年只有二万名。
布朗州长提出的加税计划（延长三项将于今年7月结束的临时加税措施），以便在下年
度筹到140亿元，而其中的20亿元将拨作学校经费。如果加税计划遭到否决，加州的600
万名公校学生，每人将失去330元。
加州教师协会公关主任约拿芬‧高德曼说：「今年的情况可能是历来最恶劣的。」
屋仑学区的情况特别恶劣。过去数年，该市依靠联邦拨款和其他收入，逃过了裁减教师
的劫数，但今年再无这些收入，学区发言人特洛‧费林特已表示，3月15日前，至
