By J.R. Dunn
Obama is finished. It's not so much the past six weeks, rough as they were,
as his own actions and responses that have finished him. His showdown with
Congress over the debt limit, which he then ran away from. His
bewilderment at the fact that markets responded to that level of stress with
a serious slump. The lousy job numbers, which anybody but Obama and his
kept economists could have predicted. His insistence on his precious

The Parting of the Clouds
In every literary, historical or cinematic masterpiece, times must grow
darkest before the sunrise and deliverance. Tolkien worked that classical
theme to great effect. A sense of fatalism overtook a seemingly doomed
Gondor — right before the overthrow of Barad-dûr and the dawn of a new
age of men. The historian Herodotus, in literary fashion, also brilliantly
juxtaposed the Greek collapse at Thermopylae (the... 阅读全帖

As perennial as the season itself, is the annual emergence of the secular

seasonal delight from others who enjoy more spiritual richness with which to

When New York adopted no-fault divorce in 2010 after decades of failed

Following the killing of American soldiers and the recent protests sparked
