1.银行有自己的risk monitoring软件，这个软件上是一个多变量的计算机统计模型
单变量的操作（比如单纯的异地cash存钱）可能会trigger软件
但至于具体cash存多少，只有risk部门内部的人才清楚
2.如果软件发现某个账户的行迹可疑，那么就会red flag
3.银行和政府有反洗钱合作。但是软件会远比政府的明文法律要严得多
4.开biz账户是频繁流水小护士规避软件的有效手段
和当年GRE机经通过人海战术摸清考试软件出题的规律一样
大家主要关心的，其实是希望已经进小黑屋的人汇报什么样的条件能trigger那个软件

language in the Act specifically rules out jail time, saying at Section 500A
(g)(2)(A):
In the case of any failure by a taxpayer to timely pay any penalty
imposed by this section, such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal
prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure.
So, no jail time.
But that means that the IRS will chase you and lien your property if you don

recap：
1. 海归没有很多人想象的好，也没有很多人想象的坏，跟小马过河的故事一样。它的
特点在于心理跨度大，机会成本高，因此必须慎重。
2. 海归学术界可以给很多有志学术生涯的年轻人提供比留在美国更好的短期机会。
3. 如果以survive为目标，不如呆在美国；如果以thrive为目标，中国或许是更好的
选择。当下而言，同样的技能和表现，在中国更容易脱颖而出。虽然短线（3-5年）回
报可能不如在美国，长线应该更好（假设中国不崩盘）
这是我个人看法，未免偏颇，希望能有裨益。

说了：
“仿的问题不在于一收到就出问题，也不在于做工好不好，而在于电容质量，成本决定
了它不可能用A级电容，那就相当于一个定时炸弹了（电容坏了也不见得一定会毁掉数
据，但是风险会增加，如果你不在意数据的话，那就无视好了）”
case by case，recap一下：
1. 对于sata转sata，电容、芯片不是必须的，但是可以起到保护作用
2. 一部分山寨托架为了进一步节省成本，sata直转，没有电容、芯片
3. 一部分山寨托架有电容、芯片，因为托架本身没有技术壁垒，仿制很容易。但是成
本原因，不会选用原装托架的A级芯片（关于这点，可以参考最近淘宝某托架厂商的召
回事件）
4. 原装托架overpriced是肯定的，不过几十刀就当买个放心吧 |

in Dell's case, MD owns just over 20% of the stock, so he has every
incentive to screw public shareholders since the stake/upside is huge for
himself. Also I am not convinced DELL is worth a lot more than his bid, and
the stock was trading well above the bid.
in CRWN's case, as I explained, the upside is significant so there is enough
pie for everybody. The family already owns 90% of stock. if you were in

由于上个月中下旬才拿到公司offer，HR的人也在最短时间内帮忙办理H-1B，但是LCA在
本周五早上才批下来，我的H-1B申请在周五(4/5)中午才寄出去。然后下午就看到USCIS
宣布名额已满的消息。请问，如果我的材料下周一寄到USCIS的话，我还能参加今年的
Lottery吗？
另外，我去年5月开始在另一家公司工作的时候，那家公司当时已经帮我申请了H-1B，
并且批下来了。可是，后来因为想及时读完PhD，我就在去年8月底的时候把那份工作辞
掉了，也就是说我去年的H-1B从来没有生效过，被withdrawn了。如果我不能参加今年
的Lottery，去年的H-1B还能申请重新使用吗？申请recap要多长时间呢？
顺便说一下，我是计算与应用数学专业，我的OPT在今年年底过期。现在的公司不是E-
Verified。

关注业内动态，基本上每两周都会分析市场情况，着重剖析某家竞争对手的产品路线图
，总结本公司的竞争优势；季度末每家的财报情况和investor day的电话会议也是必听
的。所有的信息都会按照Working版上大牛的经验写成Recap来增加visibility。
时来天地皆同力，运去英雄不自由。今年的年终review，7.5分为满分的目标，完成了6
.5分（少掉的1分是公司整体的Variable Margin，自己控制不了）。即便如此，还是被
layoff（虽然manager和再上一级的老板都对我的工作表示满意）。
Anyway，为了自己和家人的生活，在版上自荐，希望能找到汽车和工业方面的高压功率

我现在公司的6年H1B 2012年10月到期。由于6年间有海外出差或度假3，4个月，可以

现在公司EB2是计划2月贴JOB POST，5月申PERM，8-9月PERM批准，I-140 PREMIUM
PROCESS, 15天。应该可以赶上h1b结束前申请3 years h1b extension
