1989年10月1日前夕，上海市府举办招待酒会，庆祝PRC 建国40周年。来宾中有美
国驻上海总领事。原上海复旦大学校长谢希德，在招待酒会上主动问美国总领事“我们
要作甚麽事，才能解决方励之问题？”。大使立即将谢的举动转告我们。
我们判断:“这是邓小平发出的信号，中共想要解决问题了。” 大使也持同样看法。
谢希德的学术身份，是一位物理学教授，专长于点群空间群在固体物理中的应用。
谢的政治身份，是中共中央委员。谢是从美国回归者。八十年代，她每年至少到美国一

总统赞扬了达赖喇嘛对和平与非暴力的承诺，并表示支持尊者的中间路线。总统强调他
鼓励中国政府与达赖喇嘛通过对话以解决长期存在的分歧，并认为一个有结果的会谈对
中国和藏人都是有利的。
在此背景下，总统重申美国承认西藏是中国领土的一部分以及美国不支持西藏独立的立
场。达赖喇嘛说他没有寻求西藏独立并希望中国政府能够重启与他的代表的对话。总统

Q2's earning confirmed the trend and makes trailing PE very attractive.
In the conf call later, the management will paint a damn good picture, which
is going to make forward PE more attractive. Analysts are going to
reiterate buy in the next few days.
the bottom line is: reiterate buy rating.
