我觉得最基本的原则就是：做talk要像讲故事，要有story，要引人入胜，要深入浅出。
下面先简单说说如何做好一般的seminar talk（基本都适用于job talk)，下一篇再讲

申请了一个小化学公司管理仪器的位置，
这个位置以前的人是个Ph.D.,刚离开。
我面试之后拿到offer，不过这个offer比期望值要低得多，
才给5万多，而且给的title才是entry level的“chemist 1"
感觉这个公司比较欺负人，job discription 上写着：
“a minimum of a BS degree in chemistry with 9 or more years' of relevant
experience, an MS degree in chemistry with 5-7 years' of relevant experience
, or a Ph.D. in chemistry with 1 - 4 years' relevant experience.”
怎么看也不是entry level的，跟他们negociate了一次，涨到6万，title变成“
chemist 2".
我觉得正常的fress Ph.D. 毕业就应该可以拿7万5左右，没想到他们给的工资这么低，

本来对于使用AP没有任何疑问，可是刚才律师说这个是个灰色地段，用了AP会影响H1B
status。因为如果是用AP入境，入境的时候海关会给一张新的I-94，上面写的是AOS（
有效期是一年），I-94是我们在美国合法身份的文件。换句话说一旦用AP入境，我们就
成了patrol status了。将来如果要延H1B，就拿不出有效的I-94了。
