以高中来说，大多数公立学校对学生要求很低，毕竟是纳税人的孩子，只是保证学生在
上学而已，可以说那里的学生就是我们在大多数美国“青春电影”里看到的，可能基本
数学都掌握的不怎么样。比如说学生毕业后假如成为了收银员，94块为了方便钱你给了
104，他们不会直接找10块，而是推给你钱，然后找6块。
相比之下，精英私校或者顶级公校在应试方面甚至类似于中国高考，同时还要为大学申
请参加、组织各项比赛、活动。日后他们就成了硅谷创业人、华尔街大佬、政界的所谓
精英，成为1-2％的人。
要说反智，我认为还是要考虑教育环境。我的意见是：中国在平均水平的基础教育已经
超过了美国（我们大多数人都可以觉得美国中下阶级反智） ，而美国作为移民国家占
据的优势就是那1％的顶尖人才

美帝的本科计算机一个学校是大二两百个学生，毕业五六十。不过大四毕业的五六十个
学生在他们大二时也就一百。也就是大概一半能够毕业。很多美国的计算机本科大一大
二gpa低就只能转别的系，据说大二选专业的时候低于3.6进不了cs。有的学校计算机本
科生修1030的时候有400人上，上到1040就200，到3170数据结构时候就40人了，读计算
机只有10% 能够毕业。
UCLA本科小孩说：其实cs本科毕业难度比研究生高多了, 研究生可以选水课. 本科os，
编译原理， 设计模式， 分布式系统， 一个都逃不了. 我们os课挂率60%. 我们os老
头特别狠, 每年重修一大半, 他脑溢血换老师了，下面全是庆祝的. 很多学生跑到别的
学校修了os转回来的. 这老头一年只给个位数A，能给B已经烧高香了. C就要重修.编译
原理也是. 本科的ml（machine learning)课, 12个作业, 没考试, 通过率50%。本科有
拿了c的课，如果重修还c，就只能换专业。研究生也一样，八门必修不能c。三门选修

违约。但是因为seller的原因导致closing delay，现在mortgage commitment letter
已过期，我们要付extension fee。
在合同中有下面这个条款，说是如果title有问题，seller可以选择remedy，如果选择
remedy，时间不能超过60天或commitment expire。我们closing delay就是因为seller
有violations，导致title not clean，seller选择remedy,虽然现在title clean可以
closing了，但是我们的mortgage commitment已经过期。根据下面这个条款，可否要求

０年再说。某环保局长说的原话。
再说，回去搞个鸡毛的环保。 中国特色是国进民退，除非进设计院，否则私立公司生
存空间有限。国内做环保混得开的多是些做生物保护的人和一些做新能源的人，而且所
半没有海外经验但富有国内connections.
最近和几个国内的建筑设计师吃饭，他们对remediation的理解就只到＂挖地１０米，
什么赃东西都没了。再说有半尺的水泥slab，应该没问题＂。连个vapor barrier都没
听说过，更别说brownfield remediation了。
国内目前也就是做到个环评阶段，很多还是政府指定的公司才行。说实际的，倒卖点设
备比这好
海归搞啥不比做环境强？！ 我要海归决不搞环境，别的可做的东西忒多。 别不记得中
国现在是半封建半资本主义社会, 在那里做成熟资本主义里面的remediation是会很难

pushing/bullying him. The 1st is to tell them firmly not to hit him. The 2nd
is to walk away. 3rd is to tell the adult present what happened. The 4th is
only if all of the above haven't worked or if the child follows him when he
walks away and that is to hit and hit hard. We have taught him how to
correctly throw a punch without hurting himself and how to block one as well
