刚给保险公司打电话说让我们周六把车送到她们指定的body shop然后修好再取
说是body shop那会有rental car可以直接开走 说什么每天她们付20几块 但是油钱保
险什么的我们付 但是问题是我搜了搜
我们没有买rental reinbursement insurance啊 这样的话租车的钱也是保险公司cover
么 如果撞我们的人也没买 那这个钱
怎么付 租车的limit怎么决定啊
另外我们没有collision和comprehensive 说是可以把addtional insurance waive掉
我也没懂什么意思

们寄给我的账单，心想保险公司会解决，就没在意。最近收到了一个叫做Subrogation
Management Team Ltd公司的的信，说我的保险公司光付了修车的钱，其余的费用例如
，loss of use, diminution of value, administration fee 共4000多块没有付，他
们找我要，还说如果不付的话就让 national collection agency来找我。给我的保险
公司打电话，说会从新evaluate那些charge。这到底该怎么办？上网查了一下，好像这
个什么Subrogation Management Team Ltd就是帮rental car company 收钱的，有很多
的complaints。但也没有说怎么的下文。想知道有没有谁有经验，怎么和他们理论？

老美声称当年是从个认识了20年的dealer手里买的，所以说车很好。
这种有rental史的车可能要？是不是应该砍价狠些？

这个保险有四项

I don't know about AMEX, but MasterCard is the best one for car rental. Visa
depends on issuer (the bank). Generally MasterCard is better than Visa
because the coverage is provided by the MasterCard, not the issuer, so that
it is easier to deal with.
The coverage is secondary, i.e. if you have comprehensive coverage on your
own car, than MasterCard (or Visa, AMEX) only pays deductables. If you do
not have comprehensive, then MasterCard pays all.

在网上找到的，争取做个合集。
。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

六月份去Denver在Alamo租了两周的车，中间正好赶上一次冰雹，
还车的时候被告知车被雹子砸了，需要修理，具体数额需要进一步评估。
因为有AMEX的premium car－rental insurance，也不太担心
直接file了claim，然后不管了。
大概9月份的时候收到Alamo的账单，修理费加管理费以及loss of use等
乱七八糟的加在一起4600多。当时就觉得租车公司太黑，还好有AMEX的
保险，也不用怎么操心。
11月份收到AMEX的最终赔偿清单，赔了3900多，还剩下700多的样子，
说是loss of use的300多需要utilization log才能赔付，剩下的
administration fee什么的他们不管。比较郁闷，暂时放在一边。
11月底收到Alamo的来信，要那700多块钱，没办法给AMEX打电话，
告知可以自己跟Alamo协商。于是打电话给Alamo，对方出奇的好

上的pay now rate还挺不错的，应该比去店里便宜吧（有了解的人吗，给说说店里便宜
还是网上便宜？）
问题就是怎么在网上把这个rental certificate用了？
补充一下：一般是不是网上租车在check out的时候只是hold一个价钱，真正收取的费
用以还车时为准？那在还车的时候出示这个rental certificate他们一般会承认吧？在
网上看见一个review写的是还车时，那个budget的人认为certificate是coupon，不能
和网上的rate一起用。。。有人有这个经验吗？谢谢啦 |
