看了很多生物信息工作要求，这个虽然是senior的职位，但是Qualifications这一块很
多人能轻松达到。当然Responsibilities里的很多东西，有些我就不知道是具体是什么
工作了。
之前Broad Institute贴出来过一个工作（我放在最下边），没有说是junior的，我差
点申请了。和认识的一个人联系了一下表示了兴趣，结果人家告诉我：

标 题: 转行读个统计master找data analyst的工作可行么？

大妈32，3了，做了几年化学薄后累的白头发都多长了几根，有了身份后找工作无果开
始考虑转行。我数学基础一般，从来没编过程，也就是research中用点统计知识。我也
知道转CS工作最容易找，但读cs master pre-requisite 要补至少6门课，而且担心读
起来吃力。
读统计master毕竟不用怎么补课。貌似最近数据库很火，local data analyst的职位一
搜一大把，虽然看网上有广告说不需要学历，参加培训半年就能转行找到工作，但身边
真没有这样的，版上也没看到谁有这样的经历。如果读个统计的master出来，同时学些
数据库的课，是不是找工作会容易些？请大家帮忙参考下。 |

The advantages are:
1. Almost no pre-requisite courses required. NO engineering mechanics and
complex calculation are needed , just basic statistics and operations
research.
2. TOO EASY to find a job although the pay is very low. The entry level
salary without any previous experience ranges from 45K to 55K in Texas. I
have been in the U.S. for 6 years; never find a single guy without offers
before graduation in this |

examination is typically taken on or around graduation. Michigan offers no
status, certification or registration to individuals successfully completing

，现在老板给的简历3个印度人，一个韩国人，我实在是不想让印度和韩国人得逞的。
不过有人会说qualcomm是印度人的天下，有些对吧，但是，总是不招我们中国人，更没
有戏了。
看自己了，有兴趣的赶紧投简历，我知道这个位置确实要找人，挺急的，我们比较亏的
