他们要求你劳工自己离职，就是force resign. 这就是fire. 不说fire 是想你老
公好看些
对公司来说，如果要layoff 一个人，那么不能在同样的职位再招新人。但是要是fire
or force resign， 是可以的。这是为什么他们不是layoff 你老公，而是force
resign 的原因。layoff 是与performance 无关的，理论上是公司不需要这个位置了。

对方没有错，你自己都认了。
正确的第一步：找下家。就算打官司赢了你还指望继续在这里干下去？
第二步：找HR。拿着manager要你resign的信去问问怎么回事，有什么option，有什么
package，绝不要拍拍手就走。公司让你走都是请走的，要fire也好要layoff也好得有
个说法，你找工作下家的时候也好给一个交代。
第三步：找labor lawyer。不多说，只不过如果想"fight"，请你们俩找专业的先咨询
一下在做动作，否则以你们这点功力，不给自己坏事就不错了，更别提打赢了（到底有

return IF company laid off employee. It is different from what you resign
yourself. I do not see the point you worked for 2 full years, get lay-off,
the company asked for return.
But if it is resignation letter, it is different. Most bonus does not need
to return after 1-2 yrs, check your job offer letter. You could ask your
manager if he could help - but not sure.

(1) The manager drafted the resignation letter without LZ's awareness.
(2) LZ had no intention of resignation.
(4) The manager hired somebody to replace her and forced her to resign.
(3) LZ signed the letter only because she felt she was threatened.
Apparently, the manager is very unprofessional either!!!
LZ has absolutely no reason to return the money.

我也回忆一点，当年O'leary事件给我造成的最大影响就是真正学会了一个英文单词。
哪个单词呢：Resign!
记得那天天寒地冻，北风呼啸，有没下雪记不清了，我在Lafoutran(??spelling)饭饭。
就发现"Hi","How are you"什么的都不流行了
每一个人打招呼的时候都嘴里大叫着“he resigned!”.并辅以双手打开这样夸张的肢
体动作。
当时咱英语真的是很烂，不知道resign是什么意思。听力也很差，不能完全明白大家接
下来继续大段大段的又说的是什么
但就这样，经过一个中午的轰炸，竟然也明白了大概。
而且完全学会了使用resign这个词汇。发音也十分准确，其中的元音可以念的非常饱满。
He resigned! 就成了我非常不chiglish的有限词汇中的一员。
这件事给我的印象实在太深。
造成如下后果：
1。我深深体会到了football在圣母普通学生中的影响力。
2。深深明白了简历一定要讲真话这个道理。否则影响深远，几十年后也可能来毁你饭
碗。
