师傅说是能保修5年。我感觉就是地板的报价还听合理的，给我算的6块钱每ft复合地板
包工包料，但洗手间总体感觉挺贵的，但说不上来哪贵了

warehouse, walmart,residential houses (two story), there really isn't much
to do and must be one of the easiest jobs.
But if it's involved skycrapers, public structures designed by some crazy
architects, industrial buildings that are never the same, and retrofits, it
could get pretty complicated, although I can NOT say it involves a lot of
math and physics, but it does take a lot of experience and common sense. |

装费用至少加倍。老房子就老老实实retrofit，经济实惠又快捷。南加这种降雨量，应
该是没有问题的。我们那个漏雨是因为那个地方小工彻底忘了打胶了，来补上就好了，
5分钟的事儿。如果new construction方式出现的问题，可就不是这么简单的了。 |

比malibu好多了。不过最后都交钱了，发现他们的玻璃不qualify 奥巴马money，就退
掉了，拿那个参照跟malibu搞价的
装，窗户一般一个可能六七十，patio door一两百，前提都是retrofit，
也几乎是vinyl的唯一办法

空调，seer=20， 12000btu的那种，各种rebate搞下来，包安装$1100美金。还有1拖4
的中央空调。开始我问他，你是北方大道上林老板的海尔吗？他说no，他是国内特派到
美国搞销售的。北大大道的林老板过去是地区经销商和安装商，现在也是。但是他被派
来promote sales。
drei哥，您看看，人家就能在华人最集中的地方拼市场。也就是一个1平方米的小摊位
。一幅广告牌，一个真机器的壳子。我问了那人几个问题，基本还行，有些结结巴巴的
，但是能回答上来。一看那副土样，就是国内本厂派来的。
drei哥，市场是要靠拼，老老实实打下来的。海尔的空调性能跟日货富士通，大金的顶
级产品还是有明显差距了。但是总体价格也还行，就是您说的，性价比还行。可惜美国
这么大的retrofit市场，居然始终没有打开局面。靠local的经销商+安装商，结果局面
打不开，最后人家同时是富士通的经销商。
国内的电器，类似京东，在美国都没有distributor什么的。mitbbs上那么散兵游勇的

最后，预测一下the Big One的epicenter, 想必是去年（10/30/07）的Magnitude 5.4
event near Alum Rock处无疑，因为this event (/30/07 Magnitude 5.4 event
near
Alum Rock)，将弯曲最危险的Hayward fault （现在处于150年的窗口期）与另一条大
致沿I-680走向的Calaveras fault连在一起。不过，南湾鬼谷的同学大可放心，大部分
鬼谷的office buildings都不太高，且不少是1995年后建造的。再加上大部分鬼谷的
single family houses也是1995年后建造的，均符合1995年发布的新抗震规范的要求。
只是在最危险的是三藩及Oakland的Downtown的high-rise office buildings上班的各
位，小心驶得万年船，take care.
