面的是system and data infrastructure，四轮design，两轮coding。
phone： two sum， words distance。
onsite：
1. 国人大哥和一个棒子
设计一个key， value store。 value很大，不能存进内存。给一个append only file
system。
2. 白人老头，估计是fail到这轮了。 delayed scheduler。 就是设计一个scheduler
，然后schedule request。 request是一个payload和多久之后执行。 要写code。
3. 老美和一个同胞。 设计一个系统，系统存储的是reverted index。系统可以找到任
何多个word的instersection。
4. 烙印，也有可能败在这轮。上来就打着瞌睡，完全没有听我在说什么。乱七八糟的
问了几个问题，不知道想要知道什么。 然后问了我做过的project，如何设计的，如何

while the hardware gets faster and faster, your operating system eats all of
those improvements by increased disk and memory usage. Also, disk IO has
been the bottleneck for program launching speed. using faster storage (nvme,
ssd) is always helpful.
I've been using xbuntu (xfce) for most of my desktops/laptops, I rarely have
the sluggish feeling. programs open almost instantly. if you want to feel
that again, revert your windows to winxp or 7 (or jump boat to Linux - xfce

客服非常nice，各种挽留，说目前可用的Offer是：
6个月每月消费1k以上，每月给1k additional bonus miles, good for 15month;另一
个是在这个基础上再给两个admiral club admission.
另外这个客服给我提到200credit的事，她说以前如果拿过的话就拿不到了，YMMV
不过如果暂时不想关上的人值得一试，200再加这个retention其实不错
另外可以把executive转成 double cash 或者 divident，其他的没细问, 其中double
cash可以先择visa, master或amex版，保留额度，没有开卡bonus。

and explained the situation. She seemed to understand me and was trying to
revert the report. Apparently there's a chain of reaction set up for mentaly
disabled people, they need to go to 4 mandatary sessions of phychology
counseling, and if after that things are better, they are relieved from that

不过比起娃的眼睛，这点麻烦不算什么。 我们的不到9岁，晚上必须我戴，早晨
可以自己摘，稍微大一点，就可以自己戴了。
关于控制视力，看我们医生给我的那几个病例，控制得不错，有几个孩子大概
5，6年才涨了100来度。我们半年前测，一只眼睛0.2，我当时差点晕倒（真的，
毫不夸张），当然一周后测没那么差。 戴了眼镜后，每次检查都是20/20。
前段时间，眼睛过敏，3个礼拜没带，检查就没看到20/20 :(， 戴上后，2周复查
又到20/20。
我们医生说，眼镜的设计很重要，设计不好的，时间长了，一旦损伤角膜了，
就会造成视力更差；段时间没关系，是可以revert的。 好像有医生用CRT，便宜
些，据我们医生说不好，他自己用software help design，贵一些，也说好一些
王婆卖瓜嘛～
费用，我们的第一次好像是一千三左右？包括所有检查，和重新设计定制镜片（有可能
第一次设计不好）。但是你要是自己丢了，碎了，就得重新定，一副四五百。以后

那种情况，那么mean reverting是正解。所以随机因素是一种重新分配的最有效机制，
自然界的力量，或者说造物主给的初始公平。作为父母的失望可以理解，但是父母给孩
子的爱，不应该有条件。
我自己为人母之前，对孩子的期望可谓高大上，想着如何从小培养，全面发展，将来如
何上名校，如何完美人生。可是从得知怀孕那一刻起，所有的期望都立刻消散了，只期

自尊心强是个很好的属性，长久看，比会用高明的方法解题更重要吧。
话说回来，我们自己做或者教某一个方向的，必须要警惕试图把这种专业偏好和要求影
射在孩子身上。
一个是因为mean-reverting，毕竟我们已经靠某个专业拿支票了。所以，我们认为司空
见惯理所当然的东西，也许在平均意义上而言，并不那么显然。
另一个是很可能孩子们的兴趣和擅长都与我们不同。他们完全可能在他们喜欢和擅长的
领域做得比我们好的多，开心得多。

In particular, the address bar/location bar displays all the website titles,
which is both a privacy concern as well as a distraction.
I am going to install FF 2.0 for now and wait until they could revert it
back in their new version.
This reminds me of one thing. For doing software/website startup, sometimes
less is more.
Just like FF3, too much crappy features where customers don't want, actually
will ruin the new version...

精确一点说是用cointegration model来做。
idea是beta hedge，
考虑到stationary term是independent的，
hedge nonstationary term by beta ratio.
相对稳定的beta ratio，是有较高的correlation，
出发点是不用频繁hedge同时有stationary spread的mean reverting。
cointegration model理论上严密一些，但我的印象是，
cointegrated的time series，common part（beta term）的确是correlated。 |
