是书面语和口语的差别。结果导致读出来的故事常常感觉有股作文气，有点“作”，而
英语儿童故事除非有意展示 rhyme 外，书写的故事语句和平时说话习惯一样。比如
play together，英文书写和说话一样，可到了中文就是说的时候用“一起玩儿”，写

closed heroic couplet。前者是大段连续换韵的 heroic couplet，利用韵脚变化的节
奏来辅助内容上的层层推进。乔叟以此出名，而后这种体例被大量用于戏剧，所以莎士
比亚的戏剧也是如此。再一个特点就是韵脚经常破句，也就是说，一句话跨两行。这样
可以缓解连续使用 heroic couplet 造成的节奏单调。后者是作为诗段 (stanza) 的结
尾，这种体例主要由莎士比亚发起，也用得很广泛。heroic couplet 的韵脚的节奏缺
乏流动性，所以很适合用作收尾。
所以 Shakespearean sonnet 的结尾的 stanza 采用了 heroic couplet，属于 closed
heroic couplet，但是 Shakespearean sonnet 本身属于 sonnet 而不属于 heroic
couplet。
就像是音乐中主题变奏的形式应用的很广泛，但说到变奏曲，还是像小星星，古得堡这
