44年前的4月4号，星期四，傍晚，年仅39岁的美国著名民权斗士小马丁•路德&#
8226;金博士（Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.）被一颗冷枪子弹谋杀了。杀手是一个名
叫詹姆斯•厄•雷（James Earl Ray）的白人，他被判刑99年，1998年4月
23日死于监狱。当年的谋杀地点，田纳西州孟菲斯市的搂忍汽车旅馆（Lorraine Motel
），现在已成美国的国家民权博物馆。

hypocritical只是相对来说跟“虚伪”比较接近所以中文就这么翻译了
而已。。hypocritical=hyper+critical，就是”过分夸大的批评“，
也就是用自己做不到的标准去严格的要求别人的意思，和中文里面
的”虚伪“虽然比较接近，感觉上还是有很大区别的。英文中确实没
有和中文”虚伪“语义语境直接对照的词，无论是hypocritical,
pretentious, self-righteous都给人隔靴搔痒的感觉。 |

去扑灭大火……驱车数小时去援助被淹没的城镇时，我看到了它。
在我们身着军装的男女军人和自豪的军属身上……在受伤的战士们告诉我他们不仅会再
次站立行走，而是会奔跑，甚至参加马拉松时……在一位于阿富汗因炸弹而失明的年轻
人“……为了我所做的和我还将要做的，我宁愿失去我的眼睛一百次。”这样轻描淡写
