two or three times a week on ice. I am in Canada right now. You know, here,
person is crazy for hockey, hehe. In my city, it's easy to find ice rinks
outside or indoor. I also play rollerblades in summer. I just hope find more
people to "jiao liu".

Too old for the long track. Just play in the hokey rink is good enough for
me, particularly when you have kid(s) with you. Using hokey skates too but
I could never jump and do the hokey stuff.
I've never tried the short track skates though. I saw on the World Cup they
do not use the detachables anymore, so things always go full circles. |

候她胆子很小，进步也很慢。等她上了几节课以后，可以自己慢慢走的时候，我就拉着
她在public rink滑。她很感兴趣，我拉着她也越滑越快。从那以后，她自己也可以滑
了，也越来越confident。可是我发现她只用右腿用力蹬，用左腿滑，而左腿确从来不
蹬。我不再拉着她滑了，可是她单腿滑确一直没有improve。直到最近，她confidence
大增。左腿可以glide很长时间，同时右腿可以高高向后翘起，或向前翘。而右腿确仍
然不能滑。我开始很worry了，问了教练好几次，教练说这需要practice。我于是又重
新开始拉着她练。这次，专门滑下半场，顺时针的，而且让她只用左腿蹬，右腿不要抬
。她很听话，四五次练下来，左腿可以用力蹬了，但是右腿仍然不能glide。上个星期
的滑冰课，换了一个新的老师。老师给我写了张条，说right skate felling off，
need adjustment。然后给了我她husband的名片，让我去她husband的store修鞋。之后

看到public session有大人速滑， 最好和儿子一块滑， 保护一下
踩了一脚，无名指第二指节开放性横断骨折，折腾了一个周末，刚刚才看到你的信件。
而已，教现在4岁2个月的儿子滑冰1年半，轮滑半年。以下是我自己的个人意见，仅供
参考。
内翻？）畸形。这种运动型畸形（包括内翻和外翻）大概有20%左右的人群都会有，但
无特殊要求（如滑冰）一般也看不出来，就是鞋的磨损程度不同，而且多数人即使知道
了也根本没有矫正的需求；静态站立时看不出来，但是足科医师有特殊的设备可以测出
来。“回家后，我找出她平时穿的鞋，仔细地观察，发现真是右脚外侧比左脚磨的厉害
一点”，这证明不是因为你“拉她滑冰把她右脚的重心拉坏了”，根本没必要捶胸顿足

以前在国内的时候去旱冰场，同学遇上小痞子，不跟他们一起滑就撞你。没有巡场的，投诉管理人员也没用。
这边去ice rink，几乎每次都能看到不小心摔跤被摔跤，受伤流血的事情发生。巡场的倒是有，秩序也很好。 |

小孩带几次就不需要扶持了，所以她们玩的时候，我也可以自己滑。
但来来回回就是前滑，后滑，sideway，单脚, 有点闷，所以最近也学学几个动作。
昨天练了一下双单轮，觉得还可以，前后单，双前单都可以，还没敢试双后单。
另一个就是平花的蟹步，感觉很容易，但练了一天也没找到感觉。
再一个就是平衡双刹， 这个大半时间可以，但不行的时候摔得很惨。。。
不知道还有啥简单的动作可以在 rink 里面玩一下。
还有就是准备把就的鞋换掉，订了 seba fr1， 希望能快点拿到。
（怎么没有一个 rollerblade 的版呢？ 我觉得是一项不错的运动） |

球刀,比花刀窄,比花刀长,没有槽,没有齿.
跑刀,窄,长,无槽,
receational一般就是花刀.
花刀最容易站住和拐弯,速度最慢,跑刀最难转弯,速度快,球刀介于两者之间.
初学者可以用花刀入门,学会正滑倒滑,正倒左右压步后,如果喜欢速度,换跑刀
但是ice rink里用跑刀的很少,
如果准备继续追求旋转,跳跃等高难动作,继续用花刀
一般滑着玩,男生就用球刀,女生接着用花刀. |

unless you are doing speed staking or short track stuff. If it's later,
that will require a lot of power and endurance. I used to do that but now I
can only play a little hocky stakes in the small rink...
Back to ski-helmet-tree-hitting, the key is SKI UNDER CONTROL. Otherwise,
you could still die with a helmet, like one of those Kennedy's in CO a few
years before. |

I'm in the same situation but I still can take some laps in a hokey rink on
hokey blades. But I could not do even two laps in 400m speed skating ring,
such as the one in Salt Lake - "The astest sheet on earth" used for 2002
Olympics.
My speed skates were bought on Ebay for $50.
So you were a figure skater before than? |

skate boots on the wrong feet. The boots were realatively soft, easy to
squeeze her feet in. She complained only a bit, then went on to the rink.
But her teacher found out almost right away, and sent her back to me.
She still remembers this incident to this day :) But there is no way for me
to do that now, the newer boots are very tight as she advances. |

I skate at sports complex ice rink on Tuesday. They have a public
skating session from 7pm to 9pm. In case you do not go on Tuesday,

demanding. It was deemed the "fastest ice sheet on earth" so many WR were
broken on it.

It is within walking distance to the Gondola. It has self service ski
storage, and free breakfast. Nothing fancy, but it is very convenient since
the free vail bus stop is also just right outside, all the shops/restaurants
in lionshead are within a short walk (as well as an iceskating rink). Not
sure if it is still there though since it was scheduled to be rebuilt as a

发帖数: 205 | 45 三天的话可以去个远点儿的。我去年去的Smugglers Notch. 今年去的Jay Peak。都不
错的雪场。不过没什么可吃的，住resort自己做吧。除滑雪外也有些别的玩儿的，像
Indoor Water Park, skating rink啥的。
租车的话最好是four wheel drive的。记忆中Smugglers Notch的山还不太好开。
其实去哪儿最关键的是要看你的具体情况：几个人，有没有小孩儿，滑雪水平，预算多
少，等。如果只是想要学滑雪的话，近些的雪场，像Wachusetts, Loon，
Pats Peak什么的或许是更好的选择。当天去当天回。晚上到Boston找家好餐馆，到金
叶居KK歌。这样学滑雪更有效，生活也更丰富，还更便宜，呵呵。 |

宜.
如果不考虑航线，一般挑最新最大的，船上娱乐设施多的。现在新的船上都有露天电影
，surfing pool, ice rink, Rock climbing wall 这些设施了。
吃的嘛都差不多，区别不是很大。 |
