9月11日，北京大学-IDG/麦戈文脑研究所教授饶毅致美国国立卫生院（NIH）的信在生
物医学界刷屏了，这封洋洋洒洒三千余字的信《饶毅致信美国科技官员：科学家应该有
脊梁》（全文附后）向NIH致以了强烈反击，随后朋友圈开始刷屏。
一开始端端酱看到这内容也一头雾水，不少华人科学家陷入恐慌，担心今后国际研究受
阻。且慢，我们不妨来捋捋这件事。相信大部分人在转发饶教授的回应时并不会先看原
文，所以不知道到底发生了什么，但大量情绪渲染的文字并不利于问题的了解和解决。
所以端端酱想和大家一起看一遍NIH的原文，之后大家可以再对照饶毅教授的信看看，
想想疯狂转发那篇《脊梁》是不是有些盲目？毕竟没人现在知道FBI确切拿到了哪些证
据，又是哪些机构涉嫌其中呢。

大家，包括我们，指出的是你的这个逻辑错误：因为你的一个优化算法算出某个模型里
漂移过弯最快，所以你就坚持说实际上漂移过弯最快，而且反复强调这个算法有多强。
你意识不到对于你的算法，模型就是input，不够好的模型就是garbage in，你的结论
就是garbage out，period。
至于你拿控制论的路帮性反驳gigo，完全是概念性的错误。控制只是用来让车辆在现实
中有扰动的情况下follow你算出的路线，跟路线本身的好坏毫无关系。如果你的汽车模
拟模型不可靠，算出的最佳路线和驾驶方法（包括漂移过弯）就是garbage，那么控制
再robust，也只能保证紧紧跟随一个garbage solution而已。控制的robustness完全不
能反驳前面gigo的批评。 |
